It's been a minute since I ate at the Lucky Corner, the REAL one back in the day, not the shopping center version which swore us off of visiting after the disjointed meal service we received, cold food etc.
Located in the original "Lucky Corner" building and purportedly by the same original owner, this was the joy and indulgence of a meal l'd been craving for some time.
The Vegan Pho we ordered and the Tofu Summer rolls were out of this world! The broth was so delightful I didn't need to add anything.
The toppings, both for our pho and the limes for our water, were abundant and fresh, vibrant even.
What made the meal spectacular was the kindness and generosity of our host(s). I mistakenly asked for extra spicy (it was and it was exactly what I wanted) and ordered the same for my partner leaving out the fact that she did NOT want it spicy.
They made the necessary modifications at no charge, with no fuss and not even an appreciable gap in service. They even sent us home with complimentary extras!

We had an amazing dinner last night at Tin Corner. The food was sooo delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Great location near the Downtown Y with easy parking. We will be back!

We have enjoyed the food here several times in the past and have recommended it to others. Last night was a big change. We ordered Uber eats because it was too hot to sit outside with our dog as we love to do at this restaurant. All three dishes we ordered were quite disappointing. As I then read reviews both here and elsewhere. It seems that they are quite inconsistent. We definitely had one of the bad nights. The vegetable hot pot had no diced fried tofu in it at all. None. The shrimp fried rice was basically white rice with soy sauce with eight shrimp that were way overcooked. Nonother vegetables. Not worth the money. And the teriyaki chicken was maybe half a chicken breast. Every time we dined here before we’ve had plenty of leftovers. Only half of the container was used last night for that dish. And it was not tasty. The chicken was dry and overcooked. Quite disappointing and we will be doing a lot of thinking before we go back. Or maybe we should just ask who’s in the kitchen that night? Consistency is one of the most important things about success in the hospitality industry

we love Tin Corner, but what a disappointing meal. We ordered Uber Eats - we usually come eat there. All 3 of our dishes were quite disappointing. Chicken Teriyaki was a tiny chicken breast, we have always had left overs from this dish. Shrimp Fried rice was also disappointing - shrimp was way over cooked and there was really nothing but rice and overcooked shrimp. And my Hot pot veggie dish was so disappointing. Absolutely NO fried tofu, just the veggies. Will rethink before we visit or order again.

The veggie and chicken pho was delicious. It is full of flavor and extremely fresh. My daughter got Chicken Ramen and it was superb as well.
Everyone in our party had a different dish and everyone agreed: fresh and delicious!! Attentive and friendly service, also!
