What I like about Traditional is their authentic Mexican food , fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The menu is simple, and everything from their food trucks to takeout is consistently great. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and I highly recommend them, especially for parties or group gatherings.

I have order food from here several times and is always delicious 😋 my only complaint will be the portions. With 3 birria tacos you get like 2 oz of consomé which is not enough, tacos are delicious but they definitely stingy on the meet portion and when I ask for extra lime for 9 tacos they only give me 2 small pieces. I feel that for the prices they charging they could be a little more generous with portions. But food is great nonetheless but is not a constant costumer

Got the fried quesadilla with brisket and it was delicious, as was the hot sauce it came with. Hope to come back and try more!

Called for a quote for an event I was having, when the lady first picked up she said she would call me in 30 mins since she was busy. Since she never called back, I called her about 4 hrs later and told me she would call me since she was busy which I understood. Since I didn’t hear from her, I called her 7 hrs later and finally was able to hear from her. While on the phone, she was very rude, I was asking her questions about pricing, food, etc and she seemed annoyed. She told me she was going to send me a quote but she never did. I was very disappointed, I don’t normally write bad reviews but this time I was really disappointed at the customer service.

My favorite place since I moved into the Frederick area to satisfy my taco craving. The tacos are very traditional style you would associate with Mexican street tacos and seem to get the job done. I tend to get the Birria style to add a little more flavor. They are loaded with meat and I never finish my meal disappointed.

My go to in the area for many years since I moved into the area when I have a Mexican Food craving. The food is comforting and true to the name as it truly is traditional style Mexican food

I was delighted to see taquitos on the menu but they were such a disappointment. It was almost all tortilla shell with a tiny bit of something inside $16. It was at the fair or I would have returned it. Chivo que has amazing taquitos!

I wanted to like this place as it has great photos online and looks fun from the road, but it was disappointing. There is no indoor seating but they do have outdoor seating available behind the shop. The main reason the rating is low is due to the meat in the tacos and burrito having zero flavor. I got three tacos with three types of meat, and all three had no flavor. My wife got a burrito and noted hers had no flavor too.

Just got some birria and street corn from their food truck at Frederick Pride. WOW! The cashier was so friendly and the birria was incredible. I study Mexican cooking techniques and have a high bar that they met. The beef was slow braised, large chunks, and so rich. The tortillas were thin, airy, light, and delicious. The Mexican corn was such a full cup. We got two servings of birria taco and a cup of corn to share for ~$44. It was delicious. LOVED IT. and they remembered no cilantro! :) (I have the soap gene)

Love this restaurant! It's our go-to for takeout, and it is such a wonderful addition to Buckeystown. The brisket burrito and brisket nachos are delicious.

We come from abroad to visit family here in town and we stop here every trip for lunch. Last time I had a burrito and this time a fried quesadilla. I'm going to need to find more of those in my life. Delicious. We always get an order of sopes (one big sope) ❤️ my daughter had the kids fried quesadilla with chorizo and enjoyed it. My husband had the brisket tacos and says they were tasty. This trip it's just the 3 of us eating, but usually we have the whole family join in - all very happy customers. ❤️

While there's no onsite dining, I've given high marks for atmosphere because I love driving by and seeing their decoration. When they were getting ready to open we saw the work in progress and got so excited.

I'll have to check the menu closer next time, I hope they have homemade horchata. Today was a super busy day so ordered in a hurry and didn't check.

A little hit or miss at times but definitely worth a visit. Folks are super nice and obviously trying to build up the business.
