What a gem right on the Carroll Creek path! I visited with a friend on a dreary weekend and forgot all about the hazy day when the staff welcomed us! We both chose some tasty beverages and both got variations of BLT sandwiches (one salmon and one chicken) which were robust and delicious!

My food was delicious. The sausage gravy was really tasty and savory. Service was great and the wait staff was really nice. I definitely enjoyed my meal at Truth and Beauty!

My wife and I went for lunch. We ordered the Salmon bites. The dish came out smelling very strongly of spoiled fish. I was so hungry I ate two bites before my wife told me to stop. We sent it back. The staff was very apologetic, but it was too late for me. I definitely got food poisoning. Would strongly advise avoiding this place. There are a lot better options in Frederick.

What a wonderful find! The atmosphere at Beauty and Truth is fantastic—very clean, modern, and comfortable with some great mellow rock music playing. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
​We shared several small plates and honestly enjoyed every single one. The wings had a perfect medium spice, the Brussel sprouts were wonderful, and the salmon bites had an amazing sweet umami flavor from the sauce. The Tot*chos were perfectly crispy and clean-tasting.
​We also really appreciated how allergy-aware they were and their willingness to help us navigate the menu safely. A special thanks to the owner who took the time to talk with us—that really made the experience special.

What a wonderful place- totally unplanned and they accommodated three adults, two under 10, and a 100lb Newfoundland dog. Dog got treats and water- kids were offered paper, colored pencils, and crayons. Food was an amazing, staff- incredible. What an unexpected great experience.

A friend and I went to brunch on a beautiful day in Frederick. Truth and Beauty lives up to its name. The food and cocktails were excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and we even loved the art on the walls! There is outdoor seating overlooking beautiful Carroll Creek Park.

I recently joined some friends for drinks at Truth and Beauty and it quickly turned into a night to remember. The strawberry rhubarb gin fizz has been on my mind ever since I had the first sip. I loved the ambiance and the music was stellar the whole time. The salmon was delicious as well.

If you are in the area and have the chance to grab a drink and bite at Truth and Beauty, you wont regret it. The chocolate cake was the cherry on top of the whole experience. I cannot recommend this establishment more.

Truth and Beauty is amazing. Great food, and really friendly staff. Whenever I come back to the states from the U.K. I get the fish and chips!
