I come here often with my friend because it is the best Indian food in Frederick! Always generous with portions and they are super fast at getting everything out for to-go. I've never had to wait longer than 10 minutes, even for a walk-in order. Good family vibes

Tulip Grill was our place to go every time while in Fredrick. The food was disappointing today, it was cold, bland, and felt like the food was cooked few days before and gave us after warming up it for few minutes. Not the same restaurant it used to be... may be the cook or owner may have changed. We’ll never go back again.

This place is very deceiving. It is tucked away in a very old and shabby strip mall. The staff is very nice and the physical distancing is pretty good for pick up orders. The food is delicious and portions are good size. I had the chicken kabobs and a gyro.

This restaurant popped up when I did a search for "Indian food". But I dont think they fall under that category. My wife and I both wanted chicken tikka masala. When we called they said they had it. We confirmed that it was not spicy, but mild instead, as we wanted to give some to our 4yo. The food was ok... not bad but definitely NOT chicken tikka masala and definitely not mild. There was almost a full jalapeno in each portion. No way I could share it with my boy.I dont know what we really got, some kind of chicken kebab masala, it was ok. The samosas and naan were both great. Overall ok not great and a pretty pricey. But hey, let's support local businesses I guess.

Got the family planner and everything was delicious and tasty! The platter for 4 was enough for 5 adults. Would highly recommend.

A hidden treasure. Quite frankly some of the best food I've had in Frederick, and at an extremely reasonable price. I LOVE YOU TULIP GRILL!

Our first time back since the covid shutdowns, so we were glad they were open for take out. Called in our order and it was ready on time. As always, the portions were so generous! Lamb kabobs with rice, naan, salad and chickpeas (no pic, sorry), and Lamb tagine with basmati rice. In the photo of the tagine below, I've already served myself from the bowl! What was left is enough for a second full meal for two people with perhaps an added salad. The lamb kabobs were well seasoned and tender, which isn't always the case with beef or lamb kabobs at other places. The tagine was well spiced and the meat was fall apart tender -- we loved it! The naan is the real deal here, and next time we will have to try some of the stuffed naans too.

This place doesn't look like much (hole in the wall joint, in a strip mall behind Roy Rogers and Dunkin' Donuts), but don't judge this book by its cover. The food is always fast and delicious -- authentic, flavorful, and a wide variety. I went last week and got the family platter, so I could get chicken, beef, and lamb options for my boyfriend who had never been before... It was SO MUCH FOOD, we're still eating it. The chickpeas that come on the side are awesome, portion sizes are incredible, and it was all ready really quickly. Always recommended to friends in the area!

Ordered curry chicken and lamb biryani tonight for dinner. Upon first opening my container of curry chicken, I barely saw any chicken inside! For $16 I was pretty disappointed. Second, the food was delicious and full of flavor. I definitely enjoyed eating it, but still a bit sad that I barely have any leftover chicken for my second dinner tonight. I will never pay full price for this place it is ridiculously expensive. Make sure you get a local flavor coupon. If they are going to charge an arm and a leg for entrees, then they need to pack it up with meat. Great flavor, bad price points.

We love this place! Usually, Indian food in America is something to meet with resignation—but Tulip Grill is wonderful. Delicious food and especially delicious, the huge naan bread, fresh from the fire. The family was thrilled after a long day of travel. Highly recommended.

The new lunch buffet is pretty good. It doesn't have a lot of options yet but it has the butter chicken I'd have ordered anyway and is cheaper than most of the regular entrees.
