Get rid of the experiment!!! The Urbana Waffle House is my absolute favorite and I am there on a weekly basis. However, today was one of only two horrible experiences. Todayâs experience was some sort of new process or experiment gone bad. Why in the HE double hockey sticks would anyone suggest that waffle house have someone else take everyoneâs tickets and call out their orders??? Not trying to be mean but that was really really not smart. Everybodyâs handwriting all of our specifics that go into our orders is written on an old-fashioned ticket that then is handed off to someone else to decipher the handwriting and the specifics to then call out to someone else to cook. Iâm sorry that just wasnât a smart idea. I complained today to Robert the Operations Manager. He was very nice about my very direct complaint along with others that are regulars, but this âexpeditedâ process needs to stop. It was really bad. The line was going out the door and people were extremely frustrated. As a regular, it was totally unacceptable. I come to the Waffle House for good food and fast. Food was OK but today was the slowest service ever. And I mean slower than when the waffle makers were broke down. You will not find better people working there than this Waffle House they are competent. They are friendly, and they keep it moving, so I donât understand. If itâs not broke. Donât try to come in and fix it. I feel like we shouldâve learned that from Cracker Barrel.

The only thing that this Waffle House is missing from the previous Waffle House that I used to visit (Hampton, VA) is the lack of fist fights amongst workers and customers. Maybe I just came at the wrong time. Will have to visit again; maybe at a spicier hour

This is one of two Waffle House in Maryland. The breakfast food taste fresh and cost is reasonable. I loved their grits. Traditionally these are small eaterys so if you are claustrophobic you may want to get take out which is what we got. Be prepared to wait but their food is worth the wait.
