Great burgers and fries. Drinks are ridiculously cheap. It can definitely get very busy, so serving times can vary. But it’s expected with how popular this place is.
It’s an underground bar that’s very down-to-earth and traditional. While I do like the vibe and want it maintained, they definitely could use a good remodel. It can be a bit musky at times. Those carpets have to go. 😬
Side note: I described it as traditional. As a member of the LGBT community, I have always felt welcomed. It’s a great mixing pool.

Where do I start??? I don't know if this restaurant has an issue with black patrons. But, I felt so segregated in this establishment. I was never greeted when I came in the restaurant. I thought maybe 🤔 it's just a busy night, but the place was almost empty. The bartender didn't help because her attitude was as funky as spoiled tuna fish. Then the food was the reason I came, but the food i received acted as if it didn't want me there either. The food was bland, tasteless, and undesirable, should I go on and on. Wags you need to take a good look at your customer service because I was willing to truly support your establishment. But you gave less than basic standard customer service. More like wags to rags...

So good. The burgers are so damn good, great prices too! This is one of my favorite spots in all of Frederick and love coming here, whenever someone comes to visit me…I take them here for dinner!

Order a steak and cheese sub toasted with lettuce, tomato, onion, extra hot peppers and mayo. Also order chili cheese fries. Received my food, when i opened the containers the steak and cheese was wrong along with the chilli cheese fries. Went back to let them know the food was wrong. The waitress told me it was what i ordered, i explained that it wasn't what i ordered. What i asked for was not what i received. I asked for a refund and she told me she cant do a refund that she can give me a gift card. I explained that I don't want a gift card because I would not be returning to this restaurant since this was the second time my food has not been correct. She keep saying that she can't give me my money back. Never did she once ask if she could have them remake the food. There was a patron sitting at the bar that bought my food from me just to get me to leave.

This is a hidden gem in downtown Frederick! Wags came highly recommended in our neighborhood FB page, and it lived up to the hype. My son had an amazing juicy cheeseburger, my wife had the BLT burger which was stunning, and I had the Russian corned beef which was so good! The atmosphere is cozy and the service is friendly. Couldn’t recommend more!
