I loveeeee going to Westpointe crab house. The owner Jeff always makes sure your crabs are hot and ready when coming to pick up . I go there almost once a week to get crabs . Theyāre always meaty and very delicious!! Any time we call they always have the crabs we want! I recommend this place to anyone looking for nice hot crabs.

I absolutely love this place! Best Crabhouse in Maryland! They are always stocked with various sizes and the customer service is always welcoming and pleasant. I come for the steamed crabs but the soft shell crab sandwich is also delish!

I wanted this to be a good experience SO bad because I recently found out about this place. I live not even 5 minutes away and these crabs were not fresh and were cold when I got home. Anyone who eats crabs knows the steam from the bag is extremely noticeable with fresh, hot crabs. When I opened the paper bag to reheat them, I instantly noticed a strong smell of eggs. I thought I was losing my mind so I continued to reheat them and I started to eat but something told me to google the egg smell. SPOILED CRAB. Needless to say my first and last experience. I did eat one crab before googling and right now I feel so sick, I threw the other 5 crabs away. The smell was definitely noticeable but again, I thought I was overthinking. I donāt think the place is bad but I just wonāt be returning.

Stopped on the way back from a DC trip. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There's no place to eat inside, and we weren't expecting that, but the picnic table out side was perfect. Great steamed MD blue crab. Will stop again if I'm down this way

Went here for crabs for the first time, we got a dozen large. Reasonably priced plus soooo good and big!! The staff was very kind and the atmosphere was welcoming. We will definitely be getting crabs here again!

We bought a bushel of crabs here.. The crabs were full of meat and seasoned nicely. The staff were nice and their bushel price are reasonable. They also have other seafood there plus rolled paper,butter,and seasoning. Alot of poeple forget about this place.. But as we were leaving with our crabs more vehicles were parking to come in

We have bought our crabs here for years. Always satisfied with customer service. The crabs are always good. But we celebrated a delayed 4th of July this year to accommodate family coming to town and I have to say, these were the best crabs we have ever eaten! So sweet and meaty!!! Thanks for never disappointing!
Iāve lived in Frederick for years and it wasnāt until this past weekend that I found out about this place. I used to travel into DC to get crabs from the DC wharf. I could always get good, meaty crabs at a reasonable price. I went to Westpointe with low expectations given there are no good crab spots in town. I was pleasantly surprised. The crabs were a decent size and they were heavy and meaty. I always purchase my crabs live because I like to steam them myself. Ä° called in to order and when I got there my order was set aside waiting for me. I will definitely be purchasing my crabs here for the foreseeable future.

I came here on the whim on a Saturday evening, I was skeptical at first because some crab places dont sell good crabs especially restaurants. This is the best crabs Ive had in frederick thus far and it is reaonably priced and full meaty crabs. I ordered two dozen small males but they look and feel like mediums!! I will definitely be coming back plus the service is excellent everyone is so nice thereāŗļø its better than driving hours to find good crabs since its 10 mins from me- keep up the great work guys! You have gained a forever customer!

My son picked up our crabs on this Motherās Day. He reported the crabs were ready to go and the staff was so pleasant. BUT the BEST part was the crabs. They were heavy, sweet and so DELICIOUS!
