I do recommend however, I plead with the management that you consider the following:
1) allow for reservations (even with a deposit - I'd be willing to pay it)
2) allow for call ahead seating
3) answer the phone so guests who love you but live far away and determine if eating there for the evening is realistic
I was really looking forward to having my birthday celebration there last night. It would have been a party of 7. I tried to call but received a voice message just saying that you have ample seating.
I then got there at 6 and was told there would be a 2 hour wait. I live 45 minutes away and I have a 9 year old, so I knew that wasn't going to happen. It saddened me that I couldn't try and plan this out with you.
Hoping things can be improved upon for our next try.

Ordered thru DoorDash, took care of it on that end. I ordered two things, just two. Empanadas and a gluten free pepperoni pizza. How can you miss bagging an entire pizza with an order containing only two items. Our first time trying. The Empanadas were good. Also, there's no way to speak to someone there. Leave a vm, wait and see if they get back to you...

What a hidden treasure! They have the most amazing Detroit style pizza ever. The steak and cheese empanadas are excellent. Great drinks , amazing food . You gotta check out the white rabbit next time you're in Frederick!

Don't get me wrong, I love the food here. This is the only reason the stars are so high. However, if you are seated by the door downstairs during cold months you will absolutely freeze your a** off. My husband and I have had the bad luck to have gotten sat here many times. They need a better partition or system that helps this. We were not able to take our winter coats off to eat and were still freezing. Also, the new wait staff system of everyone pitching in to help every table is horrid. We regularly have sub par service because of this. We miss when you could feel like you were tipping one person, just for their service to you. This is long gone sadly.

The food and service is excellent however I was disappointed to pay an extra $2 for 1 slice of bacon cut in half on my burger but everything was tasty.
The truffle parmesan fries are AMAZING. EVERY TIME lol. All the other dishes we have tried have also been great, but those fries in particular stand out. Menus change seasonally, which is great for variety, with a core menu that remains constant. Love the ambience, especially upstairs with dark wood, a dimly lit bar, and a wall of bookshelves. 😊
Vegetarian options: They even have vegan options.

Had enjoyable experience! We sat at the bar upstairs, and the bartendernwas great! She was very personable and was helpful with our questions with the menu. It's a hidden gem of frederick, and when downtown, try to make it a stop because u will enjoy the experience.
