ZiPani Cafe Bistro

I used Zipani Cafe to cater a small brunch I had at a local hotel, and my experience with them was excellent from start to finish. I worked with Renee to pick a menu and she was so helpful in giving me advice on what to choose and how much to order. She was prompt in answering emails and the whole process was so easy. She and the owner of the cafe delivered the food right on time to the hotel, and the bagels were so fresh they were still warm. They set up the food and drinks on the tables that the hotel provided. The bagels were amazing, as were the pastries and muffins. The coffee was hot and fresh. I highly recommend Zipani Cafe if you need catering. I have never been to the actual cafe, but the next time I'm in Frederick I will definitely be visiting to get their bagels. They are as good as ones you can get in New York City.

I have been to this establishment many times without an issue. Today, I ordered an egg and cheese bagel, and a turkey with provolone lettuce, mayo. The first order was entirely wrong, I had to go back. Then I told them 2 times how to correct the sandwich and they FAILED to listen. Then wanted to argue when they still made it wrong, and stated it was my fault because I should have ordered it as a custom. Seriously? I don’t work there. Staff is excessively rude. Don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon.

Still the best bagels in town. Bacon egg and cheese on a cheddar bagel is on point. Bacon scallion horseradish cream cheese is amazing as well. The Sundried tomato turkey sandwich is great at lunch. Staff is always friendly. Lots of regulars here.

The Bagels!!! Those got darn ridiculously good bagels make the ABSOLUTE best breakfast sandwiches. The meat, egg and cheeses are all high quality as well..but that Bagel flavor just doesn't make any sense to be this good

I travel all around for work and just life, so I love trying new food spots. Its legit what I do. This food spot is 47 mins away from our area and I plan on selling people on the trip out here just to taste the truth

Pretty disappointed-Could’ve been so much better. Service was great and the girl at the counter was very friendly and had a great attitude. The food is where we ran into some issues. Biggest issue was the Zi Puccino wasn’t blended well, so the chunks of ice it was filled with prevented me from drinking it through the straw and required me to chew my drink. A bit frustrating to say the least. Bacon, egg and cheese bagel was pretty good, although it was only partially cut (top half of sandwich cut in half while bottom was intact and made for a messy situation in the car). Honestly just a tiny bit more time put into the preparation would’ve made this a million times better.

Plenty of seating, fast service, yummy food and coffee! I got the bacon egg and cheese on a jalapeño bagel. The bagel itself was the perfect texture-soft on the inside but tougher (but not too tough) crust on the outside.

If you’re vegetarian for religious reasons definitely don’t eat here. If they mess up and accidentally put bacon on an egg and cheese sandwich they won’t remake it despite the contamination, which isn’t ethical or honest.

Don’t go! First, I ordered a $10 Greek salad and the cashier said”there aren’t any in the cooler?” I had no idea what he was talking about, so he pointed behind me and it was a prepackaged salad! For $10?!? I could’ve gone to the grocery store and picked that up! It was an ok salad, not impressed. My friend got the avocado toast. She said it was horrible, very bitter, and she didn’t finish it. The place is dirty and there were 4 people suppose to be working behind the counter, looking like they were bored. I do not recommend.

Service is slow. Had 7 people working behind the counter but still took over 20 mins from ordering to get 2 bagels with cream cheese and 2 iced coffees..need to work on speed of service.
