The restaurant offers a charming, farmhouse-style family restaurant. I felt like I was going to Grandma’s house to eat. I ordered an omelet with everything, and the portion was bigger than I thought! It’s very reasonable for that price. I had a latte and it was *chef kiss*. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere made it memorable! If I were a local, I think I’d spend a lot of time and money at the restaurant!

I travel a lot, and The Root became a favorite of mine right away. You're doing yourself a disservice, if you live anywhere near here, and never have a meal at The Root Cafe.

What a great find. Stopped here for breakfast. Nice patio kept us out of the rain. People working there were friendly and helpful. Good coffee. Also had a latte. Good experience. Would definitely return.

Particularly cute atmosphere and quality ingredients. I would love it if they added a vegan protein option.

Hidden gem!!! The owner Mike was super friendly, funny and welcoming. He educated us on the story of the root and how this amazing place came to be. Do NOT hesitate to stop in and check out this awesome building which is clean, re modeled and has some really cool old school things inside.

Food was delicious and the baked goods were spectacular. We look SO forward to stopping back in again on our travels. Thanks MIKE and staff!

This is the best place to find great tasting healthy food in the area. All time favorite Triple Decker Turkey Club. You’ll be greeted with a smile coming and going. Make sure to stop in if you’re in the area.

The best thing in this area! My wife and I come there for a brunch occasionally. The service is stellar. I usually order an avocado toast. The best in town. A great place to get together with friends over a coffee.
My only complaint is that it closes too early (2PM) and sadly already closed when we feel hungry for an afternoon coffee.

Ordered a turkey club. They were out of turkey ( hard to believe when EVERYTHING on your menu is turkey or chicken) They substituted chicken. A typical club is cut in 4 pieces, this came out as a sandwich just cut in half. Mayo covering the top oozing out. No wonder there was so much mayo gooped on. The sandwich was so dry. Chicken was so dry, and flavorless. Glad we only hit this place passing through because we would never come back.
