“I am part Polish. My great grandmother came from there to Ellis Island in 1906. She raised my Mother who is now in an assisted living environment less than 1 mile away from this place. I am always looking for little things to help brighten her day when I visit several times a week. Polka Deli in has proven to be an ideal solution and helping me meet that goal. My earliest memories are eating freshly made pierogies and kielbasa in my great grandmothers kitchen with my mom and others. Enjoying the amazing food and snacks I’ve picked up here helps both of us during these very difficult times as she is confined to a bed over 90% of the time. She only eats a few bites so my diet is not improving but getting the smile from her and as we drift in and out of memories together is priceless.“

“On A Roll is truly a hidden gem inside a large office building. The receptionist at the front kindly pointed me back toward the cafe. The setting is open and pleasant with both regular tables and clusters of comfortable chairs. The freshly made breakfast wrap was just what I needed. A side of corn nuggets (like mini fritters) were nice and crispy. Fresh coffee and a brownie were a good way to finish. Staff are friendly and parking is plentiful. A great start to my day.“

“Tucked away in a business park is this absolute gem of a deli! Extensive breakfast and lunch menu, it was a tough choice but I ordered a grilled chicken caesar wrap combo so it came with fries and a fountain drink. Bonus points because they had diet dr pepper! Perfect portion size and I only spent $14 for a delicious and filling lunch. Highly recommend!!!!“

“We were in the area and found this place during breakfast hours. Visually the place is very clean and welcoming. The staff were friendly and the food was great. The pancakes were amazing! They were light, fluffy and generous in size. 3 pancakes and 2 pieces of bacon for $8.99, a steal these days. They have a few baked goods that I also grabbed (yet to try), but they looked so good. If we are in the area again, I'd love to try their lunch menu and would definitely come again.“

“This small shop is run by one person who hand makes everything fresh, to order; so don't plan to come in during a busy lunch hour and get in/out in less than 15-20m (besides, it is worth the wait). The selection of hot sandwiches and wraps is really nice and they do allow substitutions. I like that there is also a good selection of unique Asian snacks/drinks/sweets alongside the typical options. There is some seating inside as well. Cards are accepted. “I have ordered eggplant parmesan dishes for decades, all over the country. I had never had it in a sandwich before today when I popped into Santucci's, an institution in Four Corners. The eggplant parmesan sandwich was the best thing I have eaten in quite some time! I wanted to compliment the chef and was delighted to learn that he was one of the new owners, who has plans for updating the restaurant, while keeping the loyal customers satisfied. Micah Charles, from Trinidad, is incredibly talented! He mentioned that he had freshly breaded my eggplant dish and it was mouthwateringly excellent! I look forward to big things from this Montgomery County institution that is under new leadership from a fresh generation of talented culinary artists! My companion was pleased with his tried-and-true Italian cold cut sub (the restaurant's most popular offering), which he has ordered there for many years. I love buying the Italian grocery items (including frozen fresh pasta) to have on hand for home cooked meals, as well. Bravo, Micah! This could emerge as a real-life Montgomery County, Maryland version of Hulu's "The Bear" television show. It sure shows promise!“
