“This place is a hidden gem! For a while it was mostly just people in the office buildings going here but they do pickup and delivery now and their food is excellent as always! Friendly, well-priced, and good food! Their breakfasts are amazing!“
“I recently revisited Red Run Deli after a hiatus during the pandemic, and my experience was a mix of highs and lows. On my first visit, I ordered their grits with butter, but unfortunately, they fell short of my expectations. The butter tasted more like cooking oil, which was quite disappointing. However, I decided to give them another chance and ordered their fish sub with cheese and fries. It was a delightful surprise! The flavors were amazing, and it was love at first bite. From then on, the fish sub with fries has become my go-to order. Additionally, I found the customer service at Red Run Deli to be pretty good, which added to the overall positive experience. While my initial experience with the grits was not great, the delicious fish sub and friendly service make Red Run Deli worth a visit.“
“Went once and returned the following week. Tried both breakfast and lunch. Enjoyed the pancakes and french toast. My sweetie enjoyed a cheese steak sub with fries. The order setup will take some getting use to. Friendly staff. Looking forward to returning to try something else.“
“When I say in my opinion nothing tops the edmondson chicken boxes that’s what I mean, I grew up in edmondson village and since I can remember eating these chicken boxes and cheesesteak subs, I now live over east and still will drive west just to get my chicken box no caping. Chicken be so fresh ,crispy and deep fried OMG ?I love it“
“Hole in the wall deli offering breakfast and lunch classics at a low cost. Have been eyeing this place since I moved to the area. I walked in once at lunch time and the line was out the door, so I learned my lesson and called ahead. Person on the phone didn't tell me how long or gave me a number, however, i figured 10-15 minutes would be reasonable. Partner picked it up and said it was fairly busy.I ordered the Virginian sandwich - grilled turkey, coleslaw, swiss, and thousand island dressing on rye, partner ordered an italian cold cut. Both sandwiches were about $20 total, which is a decent price for lunch nowadays! my sandwich was a solid 8/10, I would say my partner felt the same about his. It's a simple, well-made sandwich. Nothing more, nothing less. I would rate them a 4.5 if i could, simply because these sandwiches were nothing to write home about. But, nonetheless, we both got what we wanted, and for the price, portion, and convenience, I would simply feel prissy giving them anything less than a 5.“
“I drive from the county to the city because it's that good. Good service, good prices, good people, food on point. Westside born and raised and I'd put the sukiyaki sub they make against anyone else's any day of the week.OH and if y'all eat fast food and drink half & HALF on the regular, stop complaining/worrying about what's in the VACCINE and get vaccinated! LOL“
“This was a nice deli to stop at; we are from out of town so it was nice to stop for some fresh food close to the highway. The gentleman was extremely polite and helpful as well. He helped me find what I wanted and got us our food quickly as well. We tried the shrimp cheesesteak with the apple juice. Everything was delicious and fresh! I highly recommend!“
“One of my coworkers picked this place for the monthly birthday luncheon. Quite a few of us placed an order there. Every meal/special ordered was great - the portions far exceeded all of our expectation of what we were getting for lunch under 8 dollars. If you're in the Woodlawn area, skip going to the fast food places and get a really good meal for less than what you would pay at an average fast food restaurant.“
“BEST PLACE IN THE AREA TO GRAB A REAL BEAN PIE!!!Very nice authentic pie, and it is the ORIGINAL bean pie... Just the right size (6 inch), not too big not too small.. They store them cold to maintain freshness, but they thaw out very quickly... When you stop by there, be sure to grab a couple BEAN PIES and when you get home, pop one in the oven or toaster oven for about 10-15 minutes...then put a lil bit of vanilla ice cream on top a dat thang... IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!!“
“You haven't had a breakfast platter until you've had one from Duke & Lou's. They never disappoint. This is a cash only establishment with street parking in the front but plenty of parking in the back. Reasonable prices for amount of food given. Breakfast sandwiches are good too. They serve other food but I can only comment on what I've ordered. Pretty clean too for a place in the heart of the city.“
“Great options and choices for premade foods like grape leaves and shnitzels, deli meats and cheeses, pickled varietals, jams, jellies, chocolates, snacks, sour creams, Azerbaijani spring water, Russian popsicles... Just got buy some fun stuff!“
