The food here is excellent. It takes 15-25 for an order. You can shop while you wait since it's located inside Lotte Mart which is a Korean grocery store. The menu is varied. Everything I've tried has been excellent and the portions are excellent. A lot of people come here just for the food when they're not even food shopping. That's how popular it is. Unlike other food stalls located inside Korean grocery stores, a lot of non-Koreans come here. The servers speak perfect English and are friendly and I think that helps non-Koreans feel more comfortable ordering food from here. The ambiance is inside-a-grocery-store ambiance.

i’ve ordered from here multiple times and i always get the kimchi stew. in the description it says it contains pork belly, but more often than not, there’s never pork belly. kinda a disappointment

It's been a while since I was craving Korean food, so I looked for it and decided to visit this place because it was close to my house. However, it was much more delicious than I expected, and I was especially surprised that the sundae soup truly embodies the taste of Korea! And all the employees and the owner are so kind that it warms my heart☺️ I definitely plan to visit again and want to try all the other menus as well~~~May you prosper!!!

I've been wanting to check out other korean fried chicken places outside of the popular chain restaurants. This one is located inside the Lotte mart to the right when you enter. I ordered the whole chicken bucket which came out very fresh. I'm not big on spicy food so I ordered the mild spicy and the soy garlic and surprisingly ended up preferring the mild one. Will definitely come back!

It’s great to have more locations! The beef bone soup is the best I’ve ever tasted around here. Whether you’re hungover or suffering from a cold, it’s a great dish~There will be winter noodles for internal use, but there is an extra charge for takeout.

This is the sister business to Ichiban Mikoshi in the Gaithersburg Lotte serving yummy Korean food. Their menu includes a range of items including Korean style fried chicken, classics like bulgogi or galbi, a variety of soups, and shared dishes like jokbal and soondae. My favorites include jeyuk bokkeum and seolleongtang. Service is friendly and the food is prepared pretty quickly unless the menu item is listed as requiring additional preparation time.

Have eaten here a few times and every single time, the prices have increased! For instance, a year ago, the Bulgogi Beef was $17.50. But now it is $19.99! Same with the other food items, they have all increased by $2-$3, each! Food portions have stayed pretty much the same, though.I can say that the service is quick. The sitting area is so-so, with only 3 tables available in the small store. Cold and Hot water are accessible for drinking.Today (5/29/23) was a good dine-in experience for Memorial Day after doing some grocery shopping inside Lotte. Maybe next time, try some other food items if there's an opportunity to eat at this food court again. Wish they had other Korean food entrees available, like Bibimbap, Mandu Guk, or Galbi BBQ.

Are you looking for high quality sushi platters for your large family or just wanna eat a bunch? Look no further because Aery is PERFECT for this in both quality, quantity, and price. I actually tried their Korean food prior to ordering sushi and I am a fan of the seafood pancake and the Korean fried chicken. This place is INSIDE of the Lotte but it's right at the entrance so you can't miss it. They also serve black bean noodles which I need to try later. They have other 25 different types of platters and I'd recommend calling ahead of you have a big order or are ordering during the holiday season. I love this place because they offer the option to have full-cooked sushi which is great for the little kids or people who can't handle raw fish. I ordered the deluxe California rolls ($100) and the Mixed Roll Platter ($115) and it even came with miso soup! The sushi was high quality, no fishy taste, and was super creamy and delicious (for the cali rolls and with those with avocado). These platters were a hit at the party and will be my absolute go-to restaurant for catering. For non-holidays I believe you can order it on the same day and it'll be ready in 2-3 hours but call and double check when you place the order. Overall, do not skip this place and definitely come try their Korean dishes and use them for catering.

Had high hopes coming here only to be disappointed in their food. We ordered the yukaejanh, sullongtang and seafood tofu soup with mackerel fish. All the soups were bland and tasted like water. All lacked in flavor but had a good amount of veggies/meat in it. The mackerel was on the other hand good and cooked well. Although the food was mediocre, the Staff were super friendly and attentive.

This is the perfect spot when you are craving Korean food. They never fail to meet myexpectations. The staff is amicable, especially Nicole, she gives the best suggestions if you arelooking for something new. The food has always been full of flavor and the portion is great. Iwould highly recommend their JAEYOOK BOKKEUM, FISH & SOUP SET, and AERY WINGS. They also have a reward program which will be handy. Do try this spot!

Be prepared for a fast food, order at the counter-style place. This hole in the wall, inside a large Asian supermarket, is casual to the max. And the food is excellent.I lived in Korea, and spent many years doing business there, and I can attest that the food here is homemade-style comfort, food, of high quality, and authenticity.

From their opening till now, their customer service has been great and food very yummy. We've tried several dishes on their menu.Mackerel set, soon dae, jjam ppong, jja jang myun, fried chicken, sushi, jok bal. I love their jjam ppong b/c it's SPICY! You can choose less spicy, if that's your preference. The soondae is very delicious. I think it's as yummy as Seoul Soondae and I don't have to drive to Virginia to get it. We often order sushi platters for parties and it's always so fresh and delicious. The gentleman working on the sushi side is very friendly, which is a plus. I appreciate their great customer service!
