Its menu is smarter than other Chinese restaurants. food is cheaper to prepare. The food is good if it is your style. Over priced. I won't return. Another friend, visited earlier, had same opinion.

We come here about every couple of weeks, and it all started after our very first visit — we’ve been craving their fish ever since. The fish is always incredibly fresh, and that’s the main reason we keep coming back.

The owner and the staff are genuinely warm and welcoming, which makes every visit feel comfortable and familiar. We really appreciate how accommodating they are, especially when we ask to set some fish aside without spice for our kids who can’t handle spicy food yet. They’re always happy to help.

If you’re looking for truly fresh fish and friendly, thoughtful service, this place is a go-to for us.

I will say this is the best sour fish in DMV area! The fish is so tender and the favor of sour and spice just a perfect balance. The price is reasonable. Come try and no regrets!

Incredibly good restaurant. I came with my family of 5. I shared the 2 person combo fish tomato soup amongst 3 people and I loved it. A very satisfying meal. Would recommend!

Tried tomato base and it was refreshing but does not have sauerkraut. Next time will have to try the other flavors!

(Dec. 2025) Came back again. Still ordered the combo for 2 mild spicy ($62.95) since kids still cannot the spicy soup but can have a little. Wanted the free side to be Sweet Rice Stuffed Lotus Root but they run out. So ordered House made sticky rice cake and crispy fried pork belly. Kids saw Takoyaki ($8.99) on the menu and ordered it, but it was only OK, not great. Probably stick with Chinese food in the future. The dessert of Chinese Jelly with Brown sugar ($6.99?) is as good as we remember; one to share with the family is enough.

(Dec. 2024) Great food and very friendly service. Came here with family but not sure if anyone would like the at all.. so we only ordered the combo for 2 ($59.95) and there is no pressure of making us order more, even there are 4 of us. There are complementary red tea or room temperature water to choose from. We also shared one dessert and were offered 4 shared bowls without us asking. Everything is delicious. Even though the soup is sour and spicy, but the kids like to pick up the fish and eat them directly (with lots of water). Overall, everyone enjoyed this new food adventure very much and we look forward to visiting them again for a bigger order next time.
