This was my 3rd visit to Barking Mad! I love the atmosphere, and I have enjoyed everything that I have ordered there. The waiters are extremely efficient and personable. Oh! Since I am an avid animal lover,I love that pets can be outside on the patio!!

I visited Barking Mad Cafe for the first time and had mixed feelings about my experience. The food was absolutely delicious but unfortunately, the service was subpar.
My server seemed unwelcoming at first, simply stating that he would be serving me without a smile or friendly greeting. After my food arrived, he failed to check in on me to ensure everything was okay. Instead, a different server refilled my drink when I was finished and ready to leave.
When my server finally returned, he asked if I wanted dessert without bothering to ask about my satisfaction with the meal. It felt like he was just going through the motions.
As someone who values great service, I was disappointed. It was clear that my server expected a tip without putting in the effort to provide attentive service. When I decided not to leave a tip, he snatched the electronic payment device from my hand and walked off without a word - no "Thank you," no "Have a good day," no "Come back soon."
While I would recommend Barking Mad Cafe for their tasty food, the poor service was a letdown. Servers should understand that good service earns tips, not entitlement. Hopefully, they'll work on improving their customer service skills.

Mediocre food - pricy menu. They aren’t open at 7 only the cafe and the cafe only serves coffee on Sundays prior to 10 when they actually open. The exclusivity/ scarcity status they’re trying to achieve with this complicated schedule and menu is cheesy.

The salmon avocado toast was perfect. I first ordered and paid for my large Americano with 2 pumps of caramel as soon as we arrived. My spouse had to go in to ask for my coffee over 15 minutes later. It wasn't prepared and they gave him a regular. So for whatever reason my order/we were dismissed. I asked our waitress if what I had was a large she said no. Other than that we were satisfied. We will be back, the rest of the staff was lovely.

I'm disappointed to share that I've experienced preferential treatment at Barking Mad Cafe, a place I've frequented for years for their delicious beignets. Over the past few months, I've noticed a concerning pattern. When I approach the counter, servers often fail to acknowledge me unless a white customer is behind me. I've witnessed this happen at least 5 times, including today. Despite being next in line, I'm consistently left waiting for 10-15 minutes until another white customer arrives. It's clear that my business isn't valued equally here. Therefore, I'll be taking my patronage elsewhere.

Best restaurant for breakfast if you want somewhere local. The food and service are spectacular. This is the only place where you can drink coffees that match the coffees in Europe.
The service was promt and friendly, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely to look at and though we seemed to come at at time that was not a peek hour it was very nerodiverget friendly.
