Heard this place was a nice spot for locals and other community members to shop wine and craft brews. Walked in today with my wife since I wanted to grab some drinks to have with pizza later and literally everyone in the store (patrons and staff) stopped what they were doing to just stare at my wife and I…I’m talking turning heads with craning necks following us thru the store as we browsed. At no point did I feel welcome, and I could tell my wife was rather uncomfortable with multiple men staring hard at her.

Store itself is incredibly poorly set up. There is no easy lanes thru any part of the store and you’ll often get jammed into a corner with someone an inch behind you staring through you saying nothing as they push into the cooler to grab whatever drink. It seems like there’s a set group they’re accustomed to in the spot and anyone else isn’t welcome unless they know. Very fratty and unpleasant. Not sure how a business expects to survive with locals feeling not welcome.

George called me very quickly after I placed my order to let me know they didn't have my item and offered great substitutions. 12 minutes away from my apartment and it felt like they got here in 5. Great customer and delivery service!

This beers and chairs is the worst people that are there. The guy that works at the desk in the morning is the rudest person with no customer service skills at all Maria is a very mean lady who puts her in anger into your food when she makes it, I would stay away from this place they’re overpriced. Their food sucks and the people that work there are horrible people

Always a good spot for a quick lunch, beer and watch some sports.

On one occasion - undercooked wings, and on top of that, dirty ranch containers from Ken's stuck directly in my wings. Why not put them outside the foil containing the wings? Or just outside the foil and the container? So now my ranch is covered in sauce, and the wings touched the dirty ranch cup.

On another occasion - ordered two cold veggie vegetarian subs. Both had meat on them because no one thought to simply wipe the knife, so two sandwiches were inedible.

As someone who's come here for years, the food is just too inconsistent. Sometimes it's pretty good, sometimes it's pretty bad. But, the staff are always super nice and quick and the beer selection is great.

Nice tasting session by Freedom Brew. I left with a box of their beers. Plus, the ones I drank were excellent, accompanied by the fantastic food at Beers and Cheers. Nice beers, nice food, excellent place.

How much do I love this place? Let me count the ways. As others have said, it's very similar to other beer & wine shops like as Downtown Crown and Gilly's (and if you haven't heard of those, please go google them now). I've been a regular customer since not too long after they opened, and I'm always glad to sing their praises.

They have an awesome selection of beers and wine, both on tap and as part of their stock, and their prices are quite decent for Montgomery County. Their food options are delicious, although I'm going to miss their empanadas now that Manny has retired. Plus their happy hour specials are always a great deal.

All in all, if you've never stopped in? Trust me, you won't regret it. And, hey, there's always a good chance you might see me sitting at the back bar.

Definitely a local place to go. Had some live music when we were there. Great at bear selection and food. Limited seating, so if it more then 2 people show up really.
