Blown away by how awful the customer service was. Middle aged lady with dark brown hair (I'm assuming owner or manager) should know better than to speak to customers in such a rude tone and should stop being so snappy. It's a shame because I was coming here every day and it's sad because the younger ladies who work here are very sweet and I was so impressed with this place at first, but I won't be back to support a business with a pretentious, rude owner (or manager). Too many other places to grab food in the area. Do better.

I used to drive 20 minutes every morning to get bowls here, it’s the closest açaí place to me. But they’re genuinely so RUDE to customers. I’m not sure if it was the manager or what (an older white woman with blonde hair) but she looked at a customer that was waiting and said “are you going to just stand there”. Then when he said he hadn’t ordered yet she said “yeah. i know.” in such a rude tone and he got quiet. I felt so bad and quickly picked up my online order.
During the whole interaction there was another worker who just stared at me. She didn’t ask if he wanted to order, she didn’t ask me either. She just stared at me like I was an alien. This isn’t just a one time thing, this has been a pattern.
I get some people don’t get upset during customer service interactions, but imagine if that was you on a bad day. Hard day or not, it’s rude and insensitive to act like that towards paying customers. I’m not going to sit here and lie. The food is pretty average, it’s not bad. But I’m not going to give my money to an establishment that is rude to customers.
If you want decent food and horrible customer service that will turn your morning from bad to worse, come to berries & bowls in kentlands!

Best açaí bowls in the entire area PERIOD. There are MANY imitators but their bowls are either tiny, lack toppings, or just feel not as fresh. This is the best you can get. The girls who work there are always great, always a treat.

There’s better acai bowls in other places , i wouldn’t recommend coming here , its to pricy for a small bowl , and it wasn’t that good and they even messed up my two orders

I ordered a green machine smoothie, had no flavor and was slimy and clumpy. I asked for a refund the manager said we don’t give refunds, but I can make you another one. Right off the back he had attitude with me. The two young lady’s working there were very sweet and polite. He then insisted he make me another smoothie, considering he gave me no choice. I explained to him that I usually go to playa bowls and said oh you your used to a lot of sugar, very sarcastic. This was my first and my last, manager has no customer service skills, and will never go back unfortunately. Great job losing a first time customer.

The people working there are judgmental and didn’t treat me like a human being. I was already having a bad day and didn’t feel good and wanted a pick me up, when I got there I was met with judgmental behavior. They took down my name and didn’t even call me when it was done just left it on the counter. They also didn’t even ask if I wanted it to go and gave other people a beautiful chalice to eat from while I got a to go bowl. I left there feeling worse and went home and cried. I am a human being that should at least be treated nice at a place of business as a customer.

NO COMMON CURTESY WHAT SO EVER! While the establishment was very neat and clean the staff was atrocious. We were not greeted at the door and when we approached the front counter waiting for the any of the 3 staff to acknowledge our existence (mind you we were the only customers in there at the time and they saw us when we first walked in) no said anything. After we ordered a acai bowl and a smoothie (which was very bland) we gathered our order and proceeded to leave. We were not offered a friendly "come again" or "thank you, have a nice day" nothing. Definitely would not eat here again.
