awful! we got served fries that had zero salt and were hard and cold on the inside. I complained and they took the same fries to the back and threw them in the oil! they came back burnt and nasty. the food was so under industry average. that also has to be a health violation to put our eaten food in the oil you cook others dishes in. Will be reporting to department of health.

This place was serving food at a soccer tournament last weekend. They had a menu with their prices, and I got a hot dog, which was listed as $4. The young girl asked me for $5, and I said the menu says $4. She said it's an extra dollar for tax! The next customer ordered a hamburger, which is listed as $10 as was charged $11. How is the tax the same, it just seemed really weird to me. And the hot dog was smashed and cold.

A sub-par experience. We dined in on a Saturday around happy hour. It was pretty empty with only 3 other tables seated. There was one waiter who was friendly but I doubt they had prior experience, everything was slow and had to be asked for. The $12 pretzel appetizer took too long to arrive and looked microwaved. The cheese dip came in a disposable plastic cup that could have been served at a movie theater. The Taco Birria arrived soggy and the consomé tasted watered down and overpowered by cilantro. Guacamole was served as a side in another plastic disposable cup. The fish and chips were mediocre, served with fries and a side of coleslaw in the disposable plastic cup. The prices and ambiance were in startling contrast to the lackluster presentation and poor service. I would not recommend.

I recently visited Brews and Barrels on a Tuesday evening after work, and I was pleasantly surprised by the lively atmosphere. It had a great crowd—enough people to give it energy without feeling crowded. Trivia was happening, and it looked like a lot of fun, adding to the upbeat vibe of the place.
The wait staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome as a first-time visitor. I tried the southwest egg rolls and mozzarella sticks, both of which were delicious and came out quickly. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’m looking forward to going back to check out trivia myself!

I recently visited Brews and Barrels with a couple of friends, hoping to enjoy a new spot that looked promising from the outside. Unfortunately, the experience fell flat from the moment we sat down. Our table wobbled, which we had to fix ourselves using a napkin. It’s a small thing, but it left me wondering why the staff hadn’t checked the tables before service.
Looking at the drink menu, I was hoping for something special. The whiskey selection was okay—nothing to write home about but fairly priced. The beer options, though, were a letdown. Instead of a printed menu, we were asked to scan a QR code, and what we got was confusing. It wasn’t clear which beers were on draft or in cans, and there wasn’t much local variety either. You’d expect a place with “Brews” in the name to have a more thoughtful selection.
As for the cocktails, they were pretty standard and didn’t offer anything exciting. They weren’t bad, just forgettable.
The food was another disappointment. I ordered a brisket sandwich, and it was dry and lacking in flavor. I had to drown it in BBQ sauce just to make it edible. We also ordered the appetizer plate, which didn’t do much better—the shrimp tasted old, and the rest of the plate lacked seasoning.
On the bright side, the service was fine. The staff was attentive enough, but nothing about the experience stood out.
In the end, Brews and Barrels didn’t live up to expectations. With a name like that, I expected a standout beer selection and maybe some unique cocktails or flavorful food, but it felt like a missed opportunity across the board. I won’t be going back, and unfortunately, it doesn’t even measure up to a standard bar experience.
