I was really impressed with the food and service here. Hadn't been to the area in a while. We had brunch and it didn't disappoint! The blt was amazing! Lots of sweet juicy bacon with a hint of spice. Delicious 😋 The French toast dish looked unbelievable! I was told it was fantastic. Will visit again!
Sunday Brunch. they don't even offer an omelett! No pancakes! Food was mostly tasteless. I had Croque Madam. Way to much bread. Server left us alone way to much to extent we didn't order a second Bloody Mary cuz she was no-show. And while the Bloody Mary was OK, it was the most boring presentation we've seen in years. In this market, with sooo many tremendous options, we won't return.

My best friend and I decided to stop by and try Burton’s grill, the set up of the restaurant was nice and our server was decent and nice. Not a lot of engagement with us. The food was not up to par to our likings. First, they don’t serve sweet tea which is a bit outrageous to me but only unsweet, we ordered the calamari and spinach and artichoke dip. The calamari was a bit cold, no flavor whatsoever and it wasn’t good to us. The dip was actually filling and good, not as warm as it needed to be but it was good. I ordered the SheCrab Soup and my friend ordered chicken tenders and French fries. My soup tasted more like milk than anything, I couldn’t finish it and I didn’t like the flavor. There was no seasonings or nothing special about it. My friend said his food was okay, no seasoning on the fries and the chicken tenders was okay as well. Overall, the food was just too bland and not enough love to it. We left disappointed and with a high bill where we could’ve spent on better food.

Wonderful service. Shout out to Sophia for giving the evening a fun start. All the people who helped our group were friendly and professional.
I live in the neighborhood. The menu is basic, but I love their cauliflower appetizer. Again, another local restaurant with an uninspiring wine list, typically featuring J. Lohr, Rodney Strong, and a subpar Caymus, which is artificially flavored with vanilla and mass-produced, often found in grocery stores and chain restaurants.

It is very rare that I visit a restaurant where both the service and the food is a step above the rest. But Burtons is both of those things. The she-crab soup was amazing - and I don't even care for soup. The bread service was really good. The burger had that charcoal grilled taste, and my short rub grilled cheese was absolutely delicious. And every time a drink refill was needed - it magically appeared on the table without even having to ask. Fantastic!

This was our first time here to celebrate a birthday and we were not disappointed! We had two in our party that are celiac and they were very happy with the menu choices, bread, fries, crab cakes etc. Our server was excellent and attentive and very willing to ask the kitchen GF questions she may not have known the answers to. Bar drinks and selection were outstanding as well. It is obvious that your team is well managed. Thanks!
Dietary restrictions: Great and plentiful gluten free options.

Food was great, but they look very short staffed. We asked our waitress for extra plates and ketchup and it never came. We asked for containers to go took 20 mins to get and as I’m am writing this still waiting for the bill smh. They have the bartender (who is our waitress)handling the tables as well. Very disappointed.

Sophia C was phenomenal from the beginning of our experience at this restaurant (it was our first visit). She was professional and friendly and made sure we were happy throughout the entire dinner. The recommendations she made for dessert were perfect as well. We will be back and make sure to ask for her!

This is a decent restaurant that does a good job accommodating food allergies, but besides that, it’s not really anything special. The food is average quality, but priced a little too high for what it’s worth. The service is usually pretty good, but there can be some slip ups.
When we made a reservation at Burtons last night, there was no table when we arrived, but we were fine with waiting. They didn’t ask us, but they had several staff members carry in an outdoor table and chairs to a spot inside. I was confused on what they were doing. They walked us over to the table and honestly I was a little shocked that they were really going to seat us there. I kindly asked the hostess if this was a joke, as I really couldn’t believe it.
We decided to wait 3 minutes for the next table, rather than trying to seat others who were waiting after us at the table, they carried it and the chairs back outside where they belong. While I understand that maybe this was just a kind gesture to get us seated faster, we should have been asked first. It’s honestly embarrassing in my opinion. You pay a premium to eat there, even if their food isn’t really the best, but you deserve an equivalent experience to the other guests.
Out of my years of visiting restaurants around the world, I’ve never encountered anything like this before. Next time, please ask your guests before assembling an outdoor table inside, and walking them to it.
I will likely be returning to Burtons in the future, mostly because my family members like it, but I’m not totally certain I can recommend it.
