Waiter never asked how everything was even after my wife didn't eat very much of her French toast special so I mentioned to the waiter that the French toast special was way undercooked and my eggs were over poached. He apologized and made no offer of trying to fix it.
Over priced and over rated.

This place made me happy. Good and healthy food. Very friendly service. Clean and comfortable with a nice patio watching the airplanes. Most important, Sophie (the dog) was there to greet us. I can't wait to come back.

What a nice place! Being greeted coming up the stairs by Sophie and sitting on the patio to watch planes while we ate was a really nice experience. The food was great too! I particularly liked the Lox Crogel (although it was just a tad too salty). The pancakes were great and my turkey and Brie sandwich was tasty. Good drinks as well. Serice was fun, friendly, and quick. It's a little on the pricey side but I'm willing to look past it for the location -- it's airport food after all!

Absolute gem in the Moco / Rockville / Gaithersburg area.

Specializing in Scandinavian foods with delicious baked goods / scratch foods / and amazing flavors.

The open face had this garlic aioli and a dill and fresh herb “pesto” that was outstanding. Next time I’m going to get the smoked salmon open face and smoked salmon Benedict!

I will come back with my family to see the plane and enjoy the grub.

I love Cafe Sophie. I'm from the U.K. so it's nice to have a quaint place with some nice options. Their cod salad is amazing! I love their breakfast and lunch options. Cafe Sophie is a hidden gem with great views of small aircraft take offs and landings.

Had a nice lunch here with a friend. I had the turkey and Brie baguette. It came with a small cup of fruit and was tasty. My friend had the cod and mashed potatoes. She liked it. We each had a slice of chocolate chip banana bread, but we thought it fell a little short of being tasty. The service was decent. Atmosphere is good. Sophie the dog made an appearance, and I was able to pet her. We had a great time watching the planes take off. Patio was closed today.

Came for lunch, stayed for the plane spotting! This was my first visit here. Great food, great service, awesome plane watching from the patio seating. I will definitely be back with my kids. Love all the Sophie photos/decor. I hope to meet her on a visit one day!

Absolutely a hidden gem in this area. Glad i dont have to drive to DC for some good brunch food. Service is top notch. Such a great home feeling. Owners and their dog (Sophie) is absolute delight. They will make sure you are having an amazing dining experience by checking on the table and yes, sophie will come visit you too. all the cuteness aside - come here for some delicious food and take a slice of cinnamon coffee cake home to have it later.

recommended - smoked salmon crudet sandwich, any breakfast items. havent even tried the lunch dishes yet.
service is impeccable.

oh if you seat outside, you get to see planes land and take-off. can't beat that scenery.

will be back many more times.

I’ve been coming here semi-regularly with my fiancé for at least a year, and the food and staff keep us coming back every time. Tom and Sandy are wonderful!

Lots of different options. The smørbrød has generous toppings. The kjottkaker has a nice peppery flavor.

This lovely cafe is located on the 2nd floor of Montgomery Airpark, right above Washington International Flight Academy. The service was excellent, including the servers and kitchen staff. I ordered KJØTTKAKER, including housemade all beef Norwegian beef cakes, boiled potato, mushy green peas and lingonberries. I asked if I could have the brown sauce separately since I am sensitive to salt. The kitchen staff was so kind to put the items in separate bowls so I could add the brown sauce according to my preference. The food was so yummy. My husband ordered a Mediterranean Salad with a piece of salmon. The salmon was beautifully cooked, the salad was tasty and the pita-like bread was really good. It was fun watching small planes fly by. Highly recommend this cafe. It was our first visit and we will definitely go back soon!

My kids and I came here after visiting a nearby park. This is a small restaurant in a building near the runway of an air park. The food is Nordic and different from the usual food you find in the United States (which I was happy to see). The views of the runway are fairly obstructed from the seating in the restaurant. So we went outside after eating to look at the planes take off and land. The service was really great!
