Excellent and full of flavor
I use to love this restaurant. What happened? Did the chef leave? Is it under new management ? My Hunan Chicken had no flavor at all. I also felt like it was precooked and microwaved. I’m so disappointed since it is near my house…
Not sure why the rating is only 4.0 when it should be at least 4.5! It's such a nice and cozy spot to get a Chinese comfort food!!
Loved the mapo tofu and chong qing style diced fried chicken (also they came with free white rice)! They're super delicious!
Reasonably priced and generous portion! Staffs were very friendly as well!
Can't wait to be back!
I ordered Fried Rice with Pork this evening. Please explain to me when chefs at restaurants started using Spam/ Processed Ham Product in the Pork fried rice. Absolute disgrace! I won’t be returning to this establishment again. I would love to see how many frozen foods they have in the walk in freezer. Thumbs down to you for serving trash!
Extremely spicy
Dumplings are made to order if you’re going with little ones who don’t eat spicy food. Loved the fish soup with pickled cabbage ma la.
Great interesting food.

Top quality Chinese food and one of the best in the DMV area. A great variety of dishes with very reasonable pricing.

Around 1pm, I had ordered ahead via their online site to pick up between 6:05pm - 6:15pm. My husband got there right at 6pm and the food was lukewarm. Clearly they made it earlier and it was just sitting. Quite disappointed especially since they are on the pricey side.

The Sichuan food is authentic in Chef Lee's Element. Friends from Sichuan enjoyed the food a lot, and gave a big thumb up!

This restaurant did not lead up to my expectations. The cucumber chilli oil was amazing! I’ve been craving this dish for weeks, so I was excited to find it on a menu, and have it else my taste buds. The pork wontons were terrible. Extremely oily which I did not appreciate, i couldn’t enjoy it, so I plan to take it back to the restaurant tomorrow. The Dan Dan noodles were terrible as well. Very oily and no flavor. I had such high hopes, but unfortunately my experience was a 3/10. Mind you, I ordered the main basic items.
Good luck!
Clean and cozy place with excellent food. You could smell the freshly cut greens in the soup. Meat is tender and rich with the sauce flavours, not overcooked with some sauce on top like in many other establishments
