My family loves this fried chicken. We usually buy the house salad, which is usually fresh and crunchy. The chicken is always tasty and well done. The service is very good. The restaurant has some tables and chairs to dine in, and you can also order through Uber eats.

I used to go faithfully especially since he opened back up. I ordered 2 steak n cheese combos, cheese balls and a 3 piece dinner and chicken tender meal. He gets back to the car one steak and cheese combo and one 3 piece combo. I called back and told her my order she wants to get smart with me. She is tripping and will not go back to them at all. I work in fast food so I know how it is but for you to raise your voice at me and get smart. You got it shawty.

Best food I've ever tried, the burger was juicy, came here twice, and also tried the fried chicken. It's the best thing I've ever tried in my life. I definitely recommend trying.

I hadn’t been here in years. I used to always stop by when I was in high school, good to see the same owner in charge. I stopped by today and the food definitely still taste just as good and the pricing isn’t expensive.

I ordered a fried chicken sub. They gave me cut up chicken nuggets on a sub roll. Then they didn't even put my cheese on the sub. I'll never waste my money there again.

Restaurantji Recommends
I went due to moco passport. Fried chicken is best eaten on site since it tastes better hot. The fries are okay. Coleslaw and roll also okay. Be sure to be specific when ordering.

The food was great as always. There's a reason they've been open since 1978.

Love this place! Staff is incredible and so friendly. I'm newer to Maryland and when I first moved here my friends hyped up chicken basket and would always say they missed it. When they reopened it was such a happy day. Chicken Basket definitely lives up to the hype.

Food - trash. The fried shrimp was all salty breading. Shrimp was a very minimum. All like canned shrimp. I was expecting something like Hip Hop Shrimp, or fresh gulf shrimp dipped and battered but this was really like some frozen fried shrimp from Costco/BJs, seasoned and dropped in grease again.
It was a total miss. All I bit into was bread and a pink center. Not worth the effort or time.
I also ordered fried mushrooms. This was nothing more than some Giant store portobello mushrooms dipped in the same salty breading as the “fried shrimp” . When I ate the mushrooms, the breading fell off, and it was just a greasy Giant store portobello mushroom. It wasn’t anything to enjoy.
-Ambience - it’s a carry out shack and wasn’t greeted compared to most small owned businesses. I walked in to almost no care as if I was there. I wouldn’t want to get food, sit in and eat. It’s like get and go vibes. Not enough space to sit and be comfortable in my opinion.
- Service was ok. Wasn’t welcoming. Felt very…”ooh we have a guest let me respond”.
Ultimately I was disappointed as I’ve been awaiting for their opening for some time. I watched the place be vacant, then they had signage and finally opened. The food and service just didn’t bring anymore joy to my expectations.
I’d advise y’all try another place, and stay away. It’s not worth your time, or tastebuds.
