So stingy with the salad toppings! I was looking forward to having a Chopt nearby since the one in Crown Plaza closed, but the staff here doesn’t fill your salad bowl with toppings the way they do at other Chopt locations. Disappointing for a $15+ salad.
Great location. Keith is the man. Such a positive attitude
I got one of the salads on the menu, I think apple farmhouse or something. The dressings had no flavor, out for blue cheese, chicken is plain, boiled with no seasoning, crazy expensive for the most boring, least flavorful salad I’ve ever had. $13 for lettuce tossed in balsamic seasoned water with plain chicken.
Chop't is a fast casual restaurant that specializes in salad and rice bowls. We had the Sesame Ginger Crunch Salad with crispy wontons, Chicken Tinga Bowl with extra avocado and without cheese.l, and Boulder Canyon Malt Vinegar and Sea Salt Kettle Chips. The Sesame Ginger Crunch Salad consisted of romaine, cabbage and cilantro blend tossed with grilled chicken, rainbow carrots, broccoli, pickled red onions, crispy wontons, and crispy shallots tossed in a sesame ginger dressing. I was surprised the broccoli wasn't florets. The Chicken Tinga Bowl consisted of marinated kale, rice, braised chicken tinga, lots of avocado, black beans, tortilla chips, and scallions drizzled with a Mexican Goddess sauce. This salad/rice bowl was tasty. I liked how the ingredients were fresh, how they asked how much salad dressing I wanted, and how they offered bread with every order. However, I didn't like the taste of the grilled chicken in the Sesame Ginger Crunch Salad.
Love that Chopt is back in the Gaithersburg area!
Yummy, healthy, and convenient ?
