We've been going to clear skies meadery for years and really enjoy the atmosphere and drinks. They host great events in their back space and you can look into the back to see part of the brewing process. Try the Guava Mama, one of our favorite sour ale meads!

Delicious mead! Got a few cans for a family reunion. I’m a fan of mead, but even the average wine consumer found this mead easy to drink. Will definitely stop by again. Very cute and cozy bar environment 🫶🏻

I've been coming here for a few years and forgot you can write a review. Clear Skies is a super chill spot with a nice rotation of their meads and occasional beers from partner vendor(s). They generally let you BYOF, and it never gets so loud that you can't have a conversation with your friends at regular indoor voices. I used to regularly come here with my best friend; when he passed away Clear Skies allowed me to host his celebration of life here. This place was a staple for their drinks and ambiance and always will be to me for the help they've provided me. Try a flight!!

Many thanks to Max at Clear Skies Meadery for making my wife's birthday party a great success. We rented out the facility and he was extremely accommodating to any of our requests. Many people had never tried mead, and it added a great element of something new to try; he helped us select different meads for guests to drink as well as other options both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Very helpful with suggestions and creating a wonderful atmosphere for a truly memorable celebration! Only (minor) challenges were: -parking was somewhat limited so guests had to park a bit farther away -AV set-up for music and slides could use some beefing up But neither of these was a major impediment to a wonderful celebration!

We went to Clear Skies Meadery for game night and had a great time. They have an awesome selection of mead and a cider as well. They have an amazing selection of games too. We just need more time to try it all!
P.S. the bartenders did an excellent job of juggling all the orders and keeping things flowing.

We absolutely love this place! I think we’ve ordered 5 boxes in the past 4 months! Cannot wait to visit them in Rockville. Such great flavors, not too sweet, and absolutely delicious.

If you’re not a mead fan cuz they tend to be super sweet, then you’re going to love trying this place because they pride themselves on dry meads. Enjoy a flight or two for tasting, or a cocktail made with them, or a beer. Take a look at their schedule for entertainment and themed activity nights

Nice spot, but with a few improvements could be great.
The good: The selections of meades were great. The service was excellent and friendly. The space was mid-size, big enough to hold a small event. There is a 10% veterans discount. The charcuterie board we had was good too.
The bad: There wasn't any music playing and could use some ambiance playing in the background. There wasn't much on the menu but a few small bites. The space, although mid-sized, could use some separation in the view from the back, which makes it look disorganized. Although not necessarily their fault, there is not enough parking.
