It pains me to have to leave this low of a rating because my husband and I frequent costal weekly and usually have a great experience however, today could not be ignored. Kate needs to be retrained immediately. Her service was absolutely inexcusable. We were literally ignored and although the bar was pretty active, it doesn’t take more than a few seconds to check in and see if we need anything while we waited 40+ minutes for our food that I truly don’t think she ever even entered. Thankfully AC was able to save the day and our dining experience and we are truly grateful for his service. As stated, we come here often and usually have a great time but if I see Kate at the bar the next time, we will skip costal and try one of the other restaurants in Crown.

We stopped in here for lunch while walking around town and was honestly impressed! The food was simple but delicious! Though not pictured, i had the cajun pasta with chicken. The chicken in the dosh was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy! And the sauce and flavor also spot on. The drinks here are great and so is the service! It's a huge space too so perfect for getting together with loved ones. Oh and the prices arent too crazy. Worth a visit!

My husband and I stopped in and tried Coastal Flats on a whim! This cute place is decorated with fun ocean art all over the place! The kitchen is open and you get a full view of it from your seat. From our view it looked extremely clean and well running! Which was pleasant to see. Also, shoutout to their bathrooms for being so pretty and clean! We were sat immediately and the staff were very pleasant and efficient! Our waitress checked on us frequently and had a great attitude! We started with the calamari, which was fantastic! The fry was perfect and there was a sweet and spicy sauce drizzled on top that was great! We both ordered the lobster roll..who wouldn't?! This came with fries & fire roasted corn alongside it. I am a huge shoe string fry fan & these were yummy! The corn was also semi the star of the show!! The lobster roll was stuffed to the brim and of course the lobster was delicious. Not an issue, but more of an our preference was that the lobster roll came with celery and shredded romaine on it. Overall just didn't think that was necessary, the lobster itself is enough for us. But nonetheless still a good roll!

I have been to this twice. The only reason why I came back for the second time was because there was a female bartender who made an amazing pineapple mojito for me. Unfortunately, on my second visit, she was not there and the drink I received was just a glass of juice. I was disappointed. But the food amazing ?

Average, mediocre, middle of the road attempt at a seafood restaurant caught between Maryland, New England, and Cajun dishes. No one seemed to have informed this small chain that "Americana" seafood isn't easy and to bring on chefs who can do all of it well on a predictable basis for a restaurant of this caliber is an even taller order. However, the outcome is quite a predictable average.
Food tastes great. Servings are rather small! Service is on point. May have to drive around for parking otherwise, pickup your food.

Have you ever eaten at a place and never had a bad experience? If not, you really should add Coastal Flats to your rotation. I've eaten here many time over the year and each time I have been served great food, not good food or ok food, great food. The consistency is astounding, everything I've had is great. Highly recommended Coastal Flats!
