We went here for a girls' night out, the first time for both of us, on the recommendation of another friend. We had a delightful time. I had the Impossible burger with a side order of truffle fries; my friend, a California burger wrapped in lettuce. Both were perfect in taste and portion size. Service was superb. We sat out on the porch, and while I worried that it would be too hot, it was not. Wonderful ambience. This just may be our go-to place from now on.

I have had some very good meals at Copper Canyon but last night was not one of them. I ordered a cheeseburger, cooked medium. It arrived well-done. I flagged down a server and sent it back. It took about 15 minutes for them to bring back a new burger, which was cooked appropriately but really didn't have much taste. By the time it arrived, my dinner companion had already finished their meal. Our server was very good and it wasn't his fault at all. He was very apologetic and offered me a free dessert, but I declined. When he brought the bill, the cost had been reduced by the cost of the burger, which is excellent customer service. This will not prevent me from returning to this restaurant, but I will probably stick to the salmon dinner that I usually order.

The staff was amazing and incredibly friendly. The food was very good too. The ambiance is a little loud by the bar, but it's okay. There were some bugs flying around but it was manageable.

I visited Copper Canyon for the first time, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The greeting was warm and welcoming, and we were promptly seated at a lovely outdoor table. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing meal. The food was solid, earning a solid 4-star rating. I had the burger with a side of vegetables, which was well-cooked. The creamy chicken soup was a comforting choice, and the smoked salmon was fresh and tasty, served with mashed potatoes and spinach that complemented the dish perfectly. Oh and the corn bread is tasty! I also tried their cucumber cocktail, which was refreshing and had the right balance of flavors. The standout, however, was the key lime pie 5/5. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made the experience all the more enjoyable. Definitely a place I would return to; probably to try their happy hour.

They make a great crab cake sandwich with seasoned fries. Servers are always friendly and professional.

Copper Canyon is a special place. We enjoyed lunch with friends in the beautiful Lake House. We were warmly greeted and service was superb. The menu includes great salads, the best cheeseburger ever, good wine and refreshing ice tea! Highly recommend!

Food was excellent! Our waitress was attentive, helpful and the sweetest. We sat inside because the mosquitos are a problem this summer.

Visited the area weekend of August 16th with family. Have dined with Copper Canyon several times and always have a great experience. This time, we had our 5 month old granddaughter with us. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and ensure our entire family was well taken care of. Really appreciate the pace of the experience along with fantastic food and drinks. Looking forward to the next visit and highly recommend!

Nice place to eat outside. The Ahi tuna salad was mixed. The salad was good but the tuna was not the best quality. The shrimp sushi was very good.

After a whole year of trying to connect, my friend and I met up a bit north in Montgomery County to sit by the lake at Copper Canyon! It was great and relaxing! We ate as we watched the school of ducks swim. Our service was excellent and our food was delicious! I've got to return now and bring my husband!!!

Coming back to Gaithersburg brings back good memories of food experiences and Copper Canyon had been one of the places we frequented to dine and enjoy happy hour. Peartinis, wings, and the Batera sushi comes back mind as savory indulges. The entire staff had as always been good in providing utmost service. However there was some sort of something being off. Maybe it's me that has been separated from the place for quite sometime or my tastebuds changing as I mature but something was off. I feel it's a combination of both as I no longer feel the excitement as I did in the past and somehow the restaurant changing something in the preparation of the food.

Only problem it appears the air conditioning unit is not able to handle the new capacity requirements. It was slightly uncomfortably warm inside the main section of the restaurant. It could have been the specific location inside, but I would expect patrons should be comfortable regardless of where they sit inside the establishment.

I love Copper Canyon! The setting is great. It is easy to get to and it is perfectly situation right near the water. The ambience is perfect. The staff is great. I love the rotisserie chicken dish (my favorite) while my husband's favorite is the meatloaf. We love Copper Canyon so much that we often drive about 30 miles to enjoy a wonderful experience. Until next time!

Our server Denna (not sure if I spelled it correctly) was FANTASTIC! She was so attentive and amazing. I dropped my fork and before I could ask for another, she was on her way to the table with a new one!!
