DMV Empanadas had a pop-up shop at the Navy Yard Farmers Market. This was my first time trying them. And OMG!!! They were so good. So tasty. Not a lot salt. Wife had the veggie one while I had the chicken salteña. They did not disappoint!! If y'all weren't so far up in Gaithersburg, I'd go right now to get some more! Actually, I'll be hitting them at another farmers market tomorrow in DC!

Crust and fillings are yummy. I did not like the Nutella strawberry but that’s my taste. Would prefer a Nutella only option. Otherwise great!

This restaurant is awesome. Their staff is extremely and I mean extremely polite friendly. They care about their customers and they make sure that the restaurant is very clean when I first walked in this restaurant. I could smell the spices and food from Outside there is also a place where you can eat outside. I had to use the bathroom and I thought I was in a five star hotel restroom. I recommend the empanadas to anybody who hasn’t tried them. I will continue to go back. thank you for your excellent customer service

I came towards closing time.. Both of my empanadas were burnt at the ends I could only eat half of both.. MAYBE if you go early it'll be different🤷🏾‍♀️

Very slow service , they told me 20 minutes for the chicken and it ended up being almost 30 minutes.

My experience with this place's kinda mixed. When the empanadas just came out from the kitchen, they're delicious. However, I had a few that'd been sitting out there for awhile. And it's really hard to justify paying so much for non-fresh items.

Each empanada is $5 each, however you can get 3 empanadas for $14. Some of my favorites are: chicken, ground beef & spicy pork empanadas.

Food is sub par for the prices

If you wanna try some delicious empanadas, you should definitely give this place a chance. Great/delicious selection, and the service is quick!

Great food! Perfect that you can choose how much to get, if you're a little hungry you can get really good quality for $5-6! (Or just get more for a regular meal). Lots of empanada options, and, most important the lady at the register is always so kind energetic in a good mood, it really makes the place have a good vibe! Also they're fast. Try this place!!

So so so good!!! I've tried several empanadas here and they are all delicious. The philly cheesesteak empanada is my favorite. I like using the self order kiosk. Love this place. It's never crowded and the food is ready quickly.
