I love this place, the service is great, the establishment is super comfortable, the price of the food is well in line with the place and the quality ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

In short: Terrible food, bad drinks, gaudy decor. The staff is polite, but not exactly great at waiting - every interaction is awkward.
The long read: The worst salsa in MoCo - that is for sure. We love us some hot salsa but their tastes like off-brand pasta sauce.
The Mango Salad was the most pathetic attempt at salad matching in taste only the plastic flowers covering every single fixture in that establishment. Oh, and the dressing was definitely some stuff from a super mercado - no chance in hell it was made in house, as you would (and should) expect.
Lengua a la Portuguese was drowned in brine the chef calls "red wine sauce".
Mojito was prepared using 2 (!) solitary mint leaves, 2 slices of lemon (!) and heaps of simple syrup. It was definitely the bartender's first attempt at mojito and it should be their last.
Maracuja blah-blah-blah "upscale" Margarita didn't have any passion fruit even in the form of flavored syrup. Not sure if it had any tequila either, though you can taste some Grand Marnier - you have to give them that.
Our waiter was wearing black nitrile gloves - it may be hygienic but was highly off-putting. It's definitely not the restaurant policy, since other waiting staff were comfortable with their bare hands. He also tried 3 (three!) times to take away the plate my wife wasn't done with. The bus girl couldn't speak a single word in English which in itself is totally fine - we, like 80% of MoCo population were FOB once ourselves. But for some bizarre reason she was made to ask us some questions that caused a lot of awkwardness for both parties of "conversation".
Kudos to the singer who was providing live entertainment - he was the only positive part of the dining experience.
Never again!

Thank you thank you. We made a reservation for 16 people and we were accommodated awesomely! We had so much fun and the food was GREAT! We were all happy with our meals, drinks and the service. We will be back!

The food is very good, the chef's creativity is exquisite, but the service is very bad, previously a Colombian served me, her service was very good, always attentive, but the last time, a waitress Nuria served me, her service was very bad, I only saw her when she took my order and then it was a short girl and a tall boy, her service was not very good either, we had to go to the bar several times to have my son's order taken, so that they would give us cutlery, we had to go to the bar to get more drinks!!!! It was a Saturday night, and the waitress's service was terrible! The others were also bad, the only time I had good service was with the Colombian who wears glasses, she is always attentive, smiling and we sat outside so she goes every now and then, but the other waiters had very bad service! I had to go to the bar to order!! and the worst thing was that they added my tip, I don't mind paying a tip for an Uber service I even left more than 25%, but this time it seemed like a theft to me!! I left the other waitress a good tip, the Colombian woman deserved it! but what a waste they are! Everyone must be equally good and helpful if they are going to add the tip! and more when your check is more than $200!!

Tried out the Chicken Quesadillas, they were juicy and also came in a side with a lot of sauces and condiments, the chips they serve as soon as you sit down are awesome, food came in approximately 15-25 Minutes.

I came here with 3 friends last week. I must say, you need to try the steak fajitas! Aside from the fajitas, no other menu item stood out to me. The chips were slightly stale and the salsa was too watery. Consider ordering flan for dessert because it’s very authentic and tastes like the flan I had in Guatemala. It was generally an average experience. Staff were very friendly and were happy to attend to me. May come back but be very careful with what you order because not everything is good.

I ordered the beef fajitas, and they were cooked to perfection. The juices from the steak complemented the sautéed onions and steak wonderfully. The rice was quite good, and the tortillas were fresh and perfectly made. Overall, it was a satisfying meal and I liked the presentation of both meals.

The server was great and took care of us, checking on us multiple times even though we were the only ones outside.

If all of this sounds like a dream..its not! It's all here at Don Jorges Restaurant in old town district of Gaithersburg. So come and join is..for smiles..music..new friends..and great food!

I came on Thursday with my coworkers and the waitresses Denisse and Laura treated us incredibly... The Chef sent us a complimentary taste of Linguini with spectacular seafood.
We will definitely return to this restaurant!

We were at this restaurant yesterday, it was our first time and we were served by a super attentive and polite girl, Denisse, the food was delicious and we loved the decoration!
We will definitely go back!
