We wait 25 minutes for our order and the food was not ready . They start talking saying that they didn’t know what happen with the order . I asked for a refund . They called their manager , she came with an attitude like if she was mad because they called her . She gave us the refund but she didn’t apologize like if it was our fault . We came many time in the past and not issues . However this time , the service was terrible .

Good but slippin a bit- they used to have great fat fries and metal cutlery.

Empanadas went a 1$ and shrunk in size.

Don Pollo is a hidden gem that delivers big on flavor and comfort. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of rotisserie chicken sets the tone for a satisfying meal. The chicken is juicy on the inside with a perfectly crisped skin, and the sides—especially the, black beans & rice, and the pico de gallo garden salad—are flavorful and generously portioned. I even had to splurge for a beef empanada appetizer and it was crispy on the outside with a very savory season filling that hit the right spot!

The space is clean and welcoming, with a casual vibe that’s great for families or a quick solo bite like I had. Service is fast and friendly, and even though they were busy, the staff kept things moving smoothly. I especially appreciated the variety of sauces—each one adds a unique kick to the meal.

Whether you're grabbing takeout or dining in, Don Pollo hits the mark for quality, value, and taste. Highly recommend if you're craving Latin-inspired comfort food done right!

Damn good chicken is the only way I can describe it. Seriously, it is that delicious.

Last night at about 7pm approx! We went to buy a chicken with my brother! Since he liked the chicken from that place! (I didn't) order a chicken to go in 8 pieces! My brother and I split half a chicken each and went home! When we arrived. I served myself to eat and I was surprised that the wing was very dry, is that the chicken was not fresh! But I kept eating because I didn't eat much anyway, and potatoes and cassava. They were better! But that chicken wasn't fresh! Then I heard my sister talking to my brother, he tells her that the chicken was spoiled and tasted weird and beaten, and called the restaurant and supposedly the place manager told him that he would deliver the whole chicken! For the trouble!) because I don't think in this weather we have for someone it's easy to leave your house and go return a chicken that touched ill-fated! Well, it's a hassle for anyone! But today when we arrived at the restaurant facility, there was no attendant who had spoken to my brother, there was another woman, and he did not give her what he had been promised, and he behaved as if he did not care what had happened the day before! I say. Is this the policy of all restaurants in this country? You claim something that happened, you're not claiming for something that didn't!

Coming home from the SC we stopped here for dinner last year. It was outstanding. We stopped again this year on our way home to PA. The chicken is so flavorful and tender. Others had a steak dish that was equally as good. My grandchildren had the chicken and rice. We chose yuca fries, roasted veggies, soup, rice and black beans.
It was SO GOOD!!!
We only wish there was a Don Pollo here in Pine County PA.

I've never been so disappointed with food from a restaurant. You don't see the food, so you have to order based on what's essentially a list. I got the driest, most boring plate of food. I wonder what made me think it will be like Sardi. See for yourself
