El Meson Restaurant and Bar

Do not order from this restaurant. Aside from not being sanitary (I have seen cockroaches there in the past, which is why I stopped going), I decided to give them another chance after some time had passed, thinking that if they were still open maybe they had resolved the issue. Unfortunately, I had another terrible experience.
I ordered two lunch specials through a delivery app at $12.99 each, but only one arrived. When I called the restaurant, their customer service was terrible — they wouldn’t let me speak, hung up the phone several times, and when I finally reached the Manager, he told me that the price shown in the app was incorrect and that he would “update the price” in the app. That makes no sense, especially since I had ordered the same thing before (twice) and was only charged $12.99 for each meal.
In the end, I was left with one lunch that should have been $12.99 according to the app, but cost me $26. I had recommended this place to several people in the past, but now I will make sure they know that not only is this place unsanitary, but also dishonest.

Very upset from when we ordered take out. The prices were not the same from the online menu, and when it was brought up to the server, she tried to manipulate the situation by indicating they have to charge more for door dash and uber eats fees and the prices are different. They never told me on the phone when I placed the order. Complete BS. They have lost us as customers.

Wish I could give this place ZERO stars. They have different prices online !!! Be careful if you order online to pick up , they were charging me SIGNIFICANTLY more once I went in to pay. Attitudes were TRASH. Will never be returning.

Absolutely love their food. I think they switched management and/or chefs a few years ago and the prices increased a lot more, but the food is so yum!

The restaurant is 110F. It’s a horrible environment

I had a very disappointing experience with a waitress named Ana. She was rude, arrogant, and provided terrible service. I ordered a meal that took much longer than expected, and instead of apologizing or explaining the delay, she became disrespectful and unprofessional. It's clear she has no interest in offering good service to customers. I do not recommend visiting this place as long as Ana is working there.

Absurdly expensive, for two soups, a chicha morada, and water, I was charged **$74.09**, with an **$18 gratuity automatically included**. The food was mediocre at best—far from the quality one would expect at such a high price point. To make matters worse, there was no welcoming gesture like bread or water, which is a basic courtesy at most restaurants. The value for money was completely lacking, and the overall experience left me feeling overcharged and underwhelmed. I will -never return and would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a satisfying dining experience. Save your money and dine elsewhere.

No deberían incluir los tips en el pago, el pago con tarjeta te incluye un costo adicional. La jalea mal preparada pura yuca y el ceviche pésimo El local no tiene un ambiente familiar y las mesas se encontraban sucias

restaurante es bonito para celebrar y para comer el gran problema es el servicio negligente de sus empleados que te obligan a pagar tips, para ellos eso es lo importante dónde claramente se nota que si no le das tips pues te atienden mal o simplemente te ignoran. es lamentable que de todo de cobren tips y no se le puede explicar o reclamar porque inmediatamente se ponen groseros.. el dueño del restaurante debe pagarle sus empleados, quitarle la maña y engaño que los tips son mandatarios porque ellos (empleados) lo desean.. No recomiendo el lugar solo por el mal servicio y los altos costos del tips( propinas) me hace sentir obligado a darles algo que no se lo merecen..

Good place to eat and chill with friends and coworkers though, love the today’s special and weekends buffet. Servers are also cool though like Ana who always has a smile on her face lol.. would strongly recommend specially for Perus’ games⚽️⚽️
