NEVER COMING BACK! The total of the bill was $278.52, plus taxes, plus they included 50.15$ (18%) gratuity giving us a total of $346.53.... HOWEVER, if you pay with your card , they charge you $360.39. who has that kind of cash in their pocket? We live in USA, no one, unless is a server/waiter, carries that much money on a daily basis. The server kept saying that the owner changed their system about a month ago and now they have to charge us when we pay with a debit/credit card. This is absolutely absurd, the restaurant should be responsible to pay that fee, not the customer. Im never coming back to this ghetto place. Food was ok, service was decent, they were out of most of the things we requested on top of that, we were charged more! I have a lot of Peruvian friends and I will make sure everyone knows about this. DO NOT GO THERE YOU WILL BE ROBBED!

So sad and dissatisfied with our visit to El Meson. This place is not Peruvian. It is a bad Latin American. local. I ordered Chicharrón con Tuca Frita and it was flavorless and was reheated. My husband ordered Arroz Chaufa and it was terrible. We barely ate the food. They automatically add the tip and charged us an additional fee because we paid with a credit card. The service was awful. The room is not clean. We will definitely not go back nor recommend El Meson.

Awesome I had antichuchos perfectly cooked the chicken is nice and moist. Also fun atmosphere. Just a little small of a place and not much on the drinks department.

The aji the pollo was really good so was the seco and the cau cau. To drink I had the chicha that was good aswell. The tamal I felt was undercooked, the causa taste like it was old it had a bad after taste only took one bite and could not eat it any more. The chicharrones were really hard and dry. Definitely will give it a try again and pick out different items on the menu.
