Ela Mesa Taste of Greece

I came here for my anniversary and was not disappointed! I absolutely loved the vibe at this place and service was great! Our server was very friendly despite being new and the food came fairly quickly and was done very well. I love the quality of the food, though some of the taste profiles might not be my go to, but everything was prepared amazingly well. I enjoy being able to try new foods. The menus having the Greek names was a plus as well, and definitely very thankful for the English descriptions. I loved the lamb shank and the Orzo was done really well! Thr chicken soup while very quality, I don't know if I quite liked it, it was creamy but I'm not sure I liked the hint of sourness to it. But regardless of whether I liked it or not, the food was very well prepared. Absolutely loved the coconut cake at the end too, I devoured it despite being pretty full.

Had a fantastic Father's Day brunch at Ela Mesa Taste of Greece! The menu was wonderful, the food was healthy and delicious, and the service was outstanding. Boris was friendly, attentive, and helped make the meal extra special. Highly recommend supporting this great local restaurant!

Boris our waiter was so nice and attentive. The pita and salad was delicious. The pastichio and kebob were a hit. The lamb was good though a bit salty . The honey cake dessert was delicious. We enjoyed it!

We really like Ela Mesa. We went a little later than usual (7:30pm) reservation and it was not that busy. WE ordered right away (we had to pick up our family at 9:15pm nearby and have always been able to get in and out in a reasonable period of time. Food was delayed for some reason. I stopped the owner as he walked by and asked if it would be much longer as it was 40 plus minutes...he said it would be coming out soon. Our food came out a little over 50 minutes after we ordered. The owner came by and explained our dishes were given in error to the table of 6 next to us. The owner then said he would give us a 50% discount and apologized. We appreciated his gesture as my husband was getting annoyed saying we had dined here in under an hour in January (which is true). Food was very good but the sides continue to be served on the plate cold or not hot or even warm> The green beans were cold and rice about room temp. The chicken was warm but not piping hot like it is typically served. They have got to fix this as I did not complain as we just wanted to eat as it was late. The food here is typically top notch and dances circles around the fru fru Greek places in the area. Hoping our next visit they can fix the kinks as it was not super busy so no excuse for cold sides all 3 visits this year. Still my favorite place and worth trying if you haven't - Baris was very good server and kept bringing me the warm pita bread which is delicious when I wanted more while waiting.

From start to finish, absolutely outstanding! The staff are very friendly & helpful, the location is great - outdoor seating was the best, & the food was perfect! It was our first time visiting, & we will be back again, & again! Definitely a must visit for Greek specialties!

We ate outside and really enjoyed our food. The waitstaff was extremely friendly and made our friend's birthday dinner a great one! Will definitely be back!

Neighborhood gem! Food is so flavorful and large portions, great for leftovers! Lamb chops and Chilean Sea Bass are my favorite entrees. Octopus and beet salad are my fav apps.

Inattentive service - had to ask for everything from napkins to boxes at least twice. Food came after 40 min after asking multiple times.

Been several times to this restaurant over the past four years and have been so happy with the food, service, atmosphere Fabulous Greek food My meal last night - a whole Bronzino fish filleted at the table Others in my party - traditional Greek food - mousakka (sp?) Other times I've had lamb, chicken, swordfish, Pastisio (?) The atmosphere is charming - line dining in the Greek islands

Food and service were excellent. We had a wonderful waiter and everything we ordered was delicious.

Very kind and professional staff. Parking was easy. I had the horiatiki salad and a side of tzatziki. I loved both and thought the value for the food was excellent. I recommend and would return. Great experience. :)

On a beautiful spring evening, the service, and food were wonderful. And the pavilion and play area with gleeful kids provided humorous entertainment. We loved it! Caveat, if reserving a table outside in the summer check out which band plays in the pavilion that weekend!

Had a wonderful birthday celebration lunch at restaurant! Our server, Wellington, was awesome, helpful in understanding the menu options, and attentive to our luncheon needs! As we chatted, ate, and dined over 2 hours, we were never rushed and the food was very good! Will return for sure!
