Fantastic vibe for kids & adults. Solid beer - but the food truck is just ok and takes 45 mins for simple largely pre made options food (hot dog, pizza, chili). BYO picnic may be a better option
Beer selection is ok, not a big selection. Really nice venue though to sit and relax after a hike.
Great tasting beer with plenty of options to choose from. Staff is kind and very helpful. The food truck was delicious and the overall ambience was a great vibe. Outdoor seating area near the pine trees was phenomenal, and very nice to be around when having a drink with friends or family.
Excellent brews, unique location.
Great place, reminds me of Robinhood Sherwood Forest. Cool place, good beer and food
Very pretty brewery out in the country side. Sells cans to go. Will not do growler fills.
I really enjoy visiting this brewery. They always seem to have something new on the tap list. The setting is very unique and close to hiking trails. The sitting area in the pines is very cool and they also have a stage for live music.
Tranquil 🍺
Had our Bookclub meeting here. It was my first time and enjoyed my time here. Felt like I was in twilight haha because of the trees.
The spacing between tables and chairs in the wooded area is sufficient - you don’t feel too close to one another.
The outside bar area is nice as well. The bartender was friendly and we all enjoyed his vibe.
Attractive spot where the outdoor space is a little bit overrun by picnicking families on weekends. It might be fun to have a beer in the pines on a weekday but family parties dominated the space and colonized the chairs on the weekend.
I was excited about drinking the Roggenbier (rye beer) but it was watery and bland. Maybe the other beers are better? On the positive side, after two sips I was glad to volunteer as the designated driver.
They have posted a list of rules about what you are allowed to do and not do on the site, which might be necessary but is not very welcoming.
I think this brewery has potential and a great location. I wish them well in the hopes of returning for improved beer.

Ridgeway Liquors,
As a retailer, I’ve had a frustrating experience dealing with Elder Pine Brewery. The salesperson assigned to our account has been unresponsive, unreliable, and unprofessional. The salesperson initially promised an in-store tasting to support product sell-through but backed out after the order was placed. Instead, we were pressured to place more follow-up orders without the support that was originally offered. Communication is poor, service is unreliable, and the approach feels pushy and unprofessional. As a retailer, we expect partnerships built on trust and follow-through—Elder Pine has fallen short.. It's clear there's little regard for maintaining a strong retail partnership. Until their service improves, we will be prioritizing breweries that respect our time and business.
All Maryland liquor store retailers be aware of such practices from these guys
Nice ambiance with both an indoor and outdoor bar. They have ample outdoor seating including a cute, shaded area in the woods with picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, string lights, and a stage for live music/events. Good beer with a decent variety of options, though I would have liked to see more fruited options. They have a nice little food menu but also allow you to bring your own food.
Lovely indoor and outdoor space and great beer.
Great beer, atmosphere and the food truck was absolutely delicious! Had an awesome chili cheese dog and nachos piled plenty high to share. Will definitely go back!
Love coming to this brewery! They have a unique blend in their varied selection of beers. The belgian blonde is my favorite (#10). But sitting under the trees and listening to a live band is feels like the definition of summer.
