Gardenia’s Cafe

This is the best little hole in the wall cafe! They have real food (main dishes, etc). It’s all made from scratch and the food is INCREDIBLE! Best quesadillas I’ve ever had. And the lamb burger - get it on a sourdough biscuit - is to die for! And the gluten-free cookies! Love this place!!!

We got the vegan juevos rancheros, vegan choc chip cookie, green smoothie, and the vegan omelette. SO good! Everyone was friendly, vibe was great. Updated from previous review on 2026-03-01

It was really good, they didn't have grilled cheese in menu but they custom made it for my kid. I tried huevos rancheros - it was a big meal, very delicious, I liked that fresh salsa taste with eggs. My husband really liked egg+cheese sandwich. We waited only about 10-15min for the order which is super fast comparing most breakfast places I know. For a breakfast of two adults and a kid we spent about $45.
It was our first time there, so they gave us a free muffin.
Well deserved 5 stars for service and food!

Gardenia's Cafe is unexpectedly delicious. I say unexpectedly because it is a quite cozy establishment, with just a few tables, located in a strip mall.

One must order at the counter (though extremely friendly staff will bring your food once it's ready).

Priority is given to freshness and quality - the juices are fresh squeezed, pastries, tortillas and breads are fresh baked. This is evident in every wonderful bite.

These dishes are created with care and everything we tasted reflected that.

The Huevos Rancheros are the best I've had outside of Mexico. The breakfast burritos were beautifully balanced with the tortilla crisp on the outside - wonderful!

We look forward to returning and trying their lunch and dinner options as well.

The only thing I would change is for a little more space inside, and more tables.

We arrived at 9AM, right when it opened and we weren't first in line (though we were able to get a table).

The place was packed the entire time we were there, and I get the feeling it stays packed (and I completely understand why!).

My girlfriend and I met for breakfast while my son was at the Airpark soccerplex around the corner. The staff were all so wonderful and welcoming. The menu had a ton of choices, and their sourdough is all made fresh onsite. I had the Central American blend coffee and bacon/egg/cheese on a sourdough biscuit. It came with sliced cantaloupe. Because it was our first time, our server brought us a free chocolate muffin that was amazing. Locally owned, reasonable prices. I’d definitely go back.

This was a perfect place for a coffee and chat. The atmosphere is welcoming, the coffee is delicious, and it's a wonderful place to relax. They don't believe in decaf coffee so be warned. I'm absolutely planning a return visit.

Gardenias Cafe is hands down the best place ever.

This spot feels like family the second you walk in. You can tell how much care goes into everything, from the food to the way they treat people. It’s healthy food done right, fresh, flavorful, filling, and never boring.

It’s the kind of place you trust. You eat well, you feel good after, and you actually want to come back again and again. Huge love to the family behind it, they’ve built something special.

Some of the best food we’ve had in a while! A lot of places seem to have really gone downhill since Covid, but this place is fantastic. They were so friendly and welcoming, even though they were packed! Definitely try the sourdough muffin….
