Hershey's Restaurant Reviews
As a vegetarian, the menu is very meat heavy. Even the salads all have meat. I ordered the Southwest salad without meat & got a plain boring green salad with a heap of iceberg lettuce & 1/2 an onion 😳 with only 2 cherry tomatoes. Asked for the Southwest… waitress brings back a small plate of cheese etc. but I definitely wouldn’t go there for food again. Also was charged $3.75 for a Diet Coke… I had iced tea so not sure about that. More Variety on the gigantic menu would...read full review
I love this place. One of the few remaining spots in Moco for live music and local atmosphere.
went there on Sunday afternoon. food was good and the waitress was also good. the problem was the older gentleman that works there (may be the owner). he kept sneezing and blowing his nose then putting the napkin in his pocket and raking it out again and again. this was while he was picking up clean utensils and wrapping them in clean napkins for customers. he also wiped down tables after sneezing and blowing his nose again and again. it was pretty disgusting to watch while...read full review

Hershey's Restaurant is a local favorite, nestled in a semi-industrial area of Gaithersburg, right next to the train tracks. This establishment is primarily a watering hole with a well-stocked bar, attracting many locals who enjoy its laid-back atmosphere. The menu, influenced by Southern cooking, may be limited but offers substantial options. The fried chicken, cooked to order, is a standout dish, featuring a crispy exterior and juicy interior. The two-piece white fried chicken platter, served with sides like fried okra and coleslaw, remains a generous and flavorful choice. Guests have noted that the Rueben is great, and many appreciate the potato skins. Hershey's also offers live music and dancing on weekends, particularly on Thursday nights, enhancing the lively vibe. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service create a warm, welcoming environment, especially during brunch or Sunday afternoons when families gather. The staff is described as hard-working, and the food is consistently tasty. Prices are reasonable, and the bartender, Brendan, is known for making great cocktails. Hershey's is considered a hidden gem that provides a delightful experience for the local community and commuters alike, feeling like a step back in time with its charm and personal touch.
