Our go to place every time we crave for some yummy warm soup! We are always provided with an exceptional service by Amy! The moment we step inside the restaurant we would look for Amy right away and she takes control of everything for us. We always leave happy, satisfied, and overly stuffed!

I had dinner here with friends recently. The servers were very attentive and kind, hot pot soup bases were delicious, but the ingredients were rather subpar. I ordered some seafood for the hotpot and could tell upon seeing/tasting that it wasn’t fresh. Raw clams were served wide open, for example. The crayfish also tasted rather stale. I didn’t have much of it after realizing the quality but still suffered for it in the bathroom later. Maybe I just have a sensitive stomach, but I’ve never had issues with seafood like this before at other hotpot places ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

TLDR; don’t get the seafood :(

My experience at Hotpot Hero was absolutely terrible. From the moment we walked in, the staff was rude and dismissive. We were completely ignored for a while, and when we finally got help, one of the staff actually scolded my boyfriend for not knowing the password to the tablet used for ordering. Like seriously?

The “spicy” soup was just plain awful — it tasted like someone dumped an entire jar of chili flakes into a basic broth and called it a day. No depth, no flavor, just pain.

To make things worse, the waiter kept nagging us about the table being messy. It’s hot pot — things will spill! If you’re going to serve boiling broth at the table, maybe expect a little splash here and there?

We left completely frustrated. The food was subpar, the service was borderline hostile, and the whole experience was just uncomfortable. Do better. 0/5.

It's my first time here, and everything was so good, tasty, and fresh!
The staff was great, giving instructions for first-timers and consistently good service throughout the meal.

I had a fantastic dining experience thanks in large part to our incredible server, Amy. From the moment we were seated, she made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. She struck the perfect balance of being attentive without being overbearing, always checking in at just the right time.

Came in for a birthday last weekend and knew I was coming in with a big party so I called the night before to see if I could make a reservation. Amy and staff were very accommodating, and although there was a party right before us, they cleaned very quickly and had the table ready to go. When Amy found out it was for a birthday, she went above and beyond to help us celebrate. Food was excellent and staff was attentive to our questions and requests. Would absolutely recommend and come back to this place again!!

This place is so delicious! From mahjong, to garlic, to meat, to layer cake! It’s one of the top five hot pot dishes I’ve ever eaten in my life! The service is also very good! one of the best hotpot/restaurant I've been! We came here thanksgiving day. They are so organized, the value and quantity of the food is awesome, the dipping paste is THROUGH THE ROOF! I'm not getting paid to say this . It's so good! Even the thousand layer cake is awesome!

The service is amazing. Amy has been our server multiple times and she always greets us like family and remembers what we like.

We don’t go out restaurants very often bc they are usually too loud or uncomfortable. But this place is an exception for our family.

The food is always consistent and delicious. We are creatures of habit but have tried almost everything. It gets crowded in the evenings, but they are very efficient at getting people seated quickly, but we always do an early-ish dinner.

The last time I ate it was last year. After eating it this time, I had a stomachache the next day. The black hairy belly was so unpalatable that it wasn’t the one in the picture. It’s a hot pot suitable for foreigners. It’s nothing special. It’s better to eat at home. Ice powder is the only delicious one.
