I’ll admit the food is pretty good here but the customer service is awful! I ordered a lunch special at 12:00 pm but was charged double because I did not “specify” I wanted a lunch special. They proceeded to yell at me over the phone and never gave me a refund for my meal.

I never wish my worst enemy to eat from this Chinese restaurant. I trashed the garbage immediately I tasted it. What a waste of my hard earned money. Their food tasted like poison.

I wish there was a negative -1 star. I made an order and they said the food would be here in 30 minutes and I waited more than 1 hour. When I called to cancel it because it was taking long the lady got mad and told me to never call again and was SUPER rude. As a customer anybody would get mad.

What happened to this restaurant it used to be so good. I ordered delivery through yelp tonight and it took two hours to arrive. When it finally got here I was disappointed to find that the Lo Mein was bland and tasteless. The tofu dish was 95% onions and the Szechuan string beans were spicy but undercooked. I used to go out of my way to eat here but Im highly disappointed with my order today.

It was a little hectic picking up my order since this covid crises is going on. But theyre doing everything they can it looks like, they have a saliport for pickup like a jail commissary type thing haha. First time ordering, food was outstanding and bigger portions than other places. Would recommend.

Just to let you all know: 1. The restaurant is indeed open and this is Hunan Cafe in N. Frederick Ave. I ordered delivery tonight (Sunday, June 7, 2020). Maybe the restaurant was closed in the earlier part of the COVID-19 shelter-in-place protocol, but it is definitely open for business, and I am grateful. 2. I have nothing but five stars for this wonderful restaurant (again). The negative reviews surprise me. 3. I ordered vegetarian food and my food was delivered hot and ON POINT. Exactly all specifications were met. All the food is hot, tasty and delicious. I am a very happy customer and so happy delicious, high-quality Chinese food is not far away!
