This is a mixed review, but overall, I can't recommend this place. The food is tasty, and the coffee is decent (although nothing to go out of your way to try). The vibe/atmosphere is pleasant. Unfortunately the staff treats you like a nuisance who is interrupting their conversation. The prices aren't high, they're outrageous. I noticed the suggested minimum tip is 18%, which seems like a lot for them to hand me an overpriced coffee. The cashier was noticably annoyed when I entered a custom tip amount. All in all, it is too much money to pay for side-eye service and somewhat decent food.

This morning, I was really looking forward to grabbing breakfast here. When we arrived, there was just one person ahead of us in line, but she was being completely ignored—and so were we.
There were two employees behind the counter: one making a smoothie and another preparing some other drinks. I politely asked another staff member who was packaging takeout orders if he could help ring us up, and he flatly responded, “No.”
At that point, we decided to leave. Mornings are busy, especially when people are trying to get to work, and even a simple greeting or acknowledgment would have made a difference. Disappointing experience.

The food here is pretty average, but the coffee is excellent! I had a cappuccino and really enjoyed the flavor. The pastries are also quite good. What I love most about Java Nation is the cozy atmosphere, it’s a great spot to relax or catch up with friends. Just keep in mind that if you go on a weekend, it can get really crowded and the wait to order might be a bit long.
Ohhhh the coffee is absolutely great, especially the cappuccino! It was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced.

Overrated. Ordered to-go. Customer service wasn't great. After getting my chai, I was told to stand in front of the main entrance area to wait for my food and it was awkward as I was blocking traffic and had to move around to let people through. The same worker also asked me what I was waiting for. Hot Chai latte tastes weird. Pancakes have no flavor, and I'm not sure how that's possible. You'll have to drown it in syrup to actually enjoy it. Huevos rancheros was under seasoned. For what you pay here, the dishes are underwhelming and not worth the price.

Food is average and very expensive. The default tip is 18%, and there's no table service.

I’ve been a handful of times. Today was no different. I love their options - how they have wine & beer, AND cocktails if you’re feeling a little spunky.
Today I ordered a dine-in cortado (hot), and set of (2) beef empanadas, big slice of their honey cake, and the seasonal cardamom latte w/ orange zest (hot) to-go. All so delicious!!!
The staff were friendly, efficient, chill~
Yes, the tip thing can be “annoying” but there is a way to put a custom tip haha (in response to another reviewer).. it may be a bit “hidden” at first, but no one is forced to tip. 18% just happens to be the minimum.
Last time I visited (last summer I think!?):
When I tell you I was pleasantly surprised to see Pisco Sour (I believe) on their cocktail menu… it was middle of the day but I ordered it 🤷🏻♀️ called “Touch of Perú” on their menu
Today: ngl the cortado caught me off guard (I think that was my first…) but it was the perfect hot & strong beverage for a cold *** day like today! Ambiance was nice, per usual. Bathrooms were clean, per usual. I will say, I did feel a bit cramped / my conversation didn’t feel intimate at times, but not much to do about that. They clearly have tables spaced in a way that maximizes the dining area
Latte art was so cute :) and I like how they have a water station ~ their dessert selection was nice. I didn’t see a huge range of pastries though but they still looked delicious
Didn’t get photos of my honey cake, cardamom latte, nor empanadas, but here are the cortado and friend’s matcha latte!

It's great to have a fun breakfast place right around the corner with good cappuccino and good pancakes!
On my birthday, we went there for coffee in the morning. Everything we ordered was good except the macrons, which felt a little old.

Went there for coffee n cake. Cappuccino was nice. $9 Tiramisu was nicely presented but felt a little too sweet!! Just about enough seating. They sell JN merchandise, too. Friendly staff. Very clean. Nicely decorated seasonally.

This place is great. I love the spinach and cheese croissants they have. Fresh, buttery, and tasty. Their steak and truffle fries are also great here. Mine was cooked perfectly medium. I will definitely be returning!
