We ordered nihari and beef seekh kabab. The kabab was fine but the nihari was tasteless. It does not even qualify to be called nihari. The chole only looked good but tasted like boiled chickpeas with no spices. We tasted biryani there and the rice used to cook it were so bad that they subdued any flavor biryani had. They should improve the food quality and taste.

Such a beautiful place with a great taste of food

First time trying Karahi, so I don't have a good barometer on what it should taste like.
But Iliked it, the aftertaste is unlike anything have ever had. Ginger like, maybe it's nuts?
For the karahi, They asked how spicy, and I said the spiciest they have. I was warned that it's really spicy. And it was a comfortable amount of spice. But admittedly I am a bit insane about spice, so not their fault. Also maybe Karahi's not supposed to be super spicy, l'm not sure But it tasted great
Also had Aloo keema. Which came with a generous amount of rice and chickpeas. Great value for the quality and portions. It's listed as a starter, so we ordered to share. But if I were to come alone, and just get Aloo keema,I would leave happy

5/5 Stars - Exceptional Dining!
Kabob and Karahi (Gaithersburg) serves the BEST Goat Karahi in the DMV area! Rich, spicy, and perfectly balanced. Adnan's top-notch service made our experience special. Cozy ambiance and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Food is delicious, and the staff are friendly and eager to please.
Vegetarian options: The chickpeas (chole) are wonderful, and have some kind of mysterious combination of ingredients that yield an incredible sauce. The veggie balls in yogurt sauce are slightly hot but never overpowering, and the rice has a whiff of cardamom.
Dietary restrictions: The gentleman at the counter was very helpful in suggesting gluten-free options.

What a hidden gem, friends and I found the restaurant late at night by pure chance. The restaurant is beautiful and the service is extremely friendly. Saw a family already sitting at a table and all the dishes looked absolutely mouth-watering. At the same time the server brought to that table a stack of freshly made naan. And when I say it was a sight to behold, all the naan were so thick and so fluffy, my friends and I just looked on in awe. Got the lamb kabob and it was the best dang kabob I've ever gotten. It came with a delicious chickpea curry over a bed of flavorful rice, with fresh greens, and oh the naan! Was so good. Had to come back again with family today. Better than all the restaurants I've tried in Bethesda, and so budget friendly too.

I ordered lamb karahi and lamb chops. Both were perfect, and they went very well with hot naan.

A Delightful Culinary Journey at Kabob and Karahi
I recently had the pleasure of dining at the newly opened Kabob and Karahi on Flower Hills Ave, Gaithersburg, and I must say, it’s a fantastic addition to the area. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed by the beautiful interior décor—modern yet warm and inviting. The facility was spotless, and the staff were incredibly friendly and polite, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.
The menu offers a wide variety of South Asian cuisine, and everything is made fresh to order. I was particularly impressed by their weekend specials, which include traditional dishes like Haleem, Paya, and Nihari. The Biryani, a rice delicacy renowned for its rich taste and aromatic flavors, was absolutely divine. Their selection of BBQ and grilled items is also outstanding, each dish bursting with authentic flavors.
Kabob and Karahi is truly a gem in the locality, offering food enthusiasts a new place to indulge in exquisite South Asian cuisine. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious and authentic meal in a welcoming atmosphere.

I ordered Aloo Qeema with their special garlic naans, I got chickpeas and rice on the side and they gave a decent portion of everything. The food was amazing and I could even eat the leftovers for dinner. I would definitely recommend the place!!!!
