@adashofcilantro - Interesting find in @ubereats from Gaithersburg MD @kaveri_gaithersburg @kaverigaithersburgAlthough they had a very elaborate menu, We were skeptical and sticked to one known dish and one out-of-comfort dish for today’s lunch ?1) Chennai Chili Panner Briyani - first of all #nammachennai #chennai name itself was an eye catcher and it gave an authentic South Indian Chennai Briyani taste in our buds.2) Potlam Parotta - Was very confused with the name and when they said it was banana leaf, #parotta and #veg gravy. We were so excited for #kizhi #kizhiporotta as it’s been ages I had this dish. They should rename this as messy bundle of joy ?Check their menu for some amazing options and it is always a responsibility to share details of good food when you eat one ??‍♂️Note: Might check their place in person for a buffet style dine in so that can have a bite of most of the things they could offer???#goodfood #kaveri #southindian #maryland #dmvfoodie #roots #southindianfood #nostalgia #briyani #panner #food #newfood #foodfinds #adashofcilantro

We went to the dosa night around 7 pm and it was just us. They had a buffet style apertizers and there was a cook to do the dosas. They had a pineapple juice which was too sweet. Dosas were not the best. Within 5 mins they gave the dosas. Spicy dosa was too spicy. Service was good and the staff was friendly.Food: 4/5

We catered from them for a big event. Their price was reasonable, they delivered right on time, and everyone loved their food! And best of all, they were polite, and accommodated all of our requests! A very positive experience. Will certainly order from them again!

New management, their service is superb! Every food item is tasty & prices are really reasonable. I recently had a catering order, Ganesh is really thoughtful. They delivered it to home & all the foods given in heating container which can keep the food warm up to 3-4 hours.

Review for weekend lunch buffet around 2:20pm. Cost 15$ for one adult.Featured a spicy array of foods, with chicken as the only meat in several ways, including butter curry, deep fried, tandoori, and biryani. Veggies mostly seemed to be southeast style- and included deep fried okra and potato, and a basic stew-like curry. Non meat protein consisted of a paneer curry.Included a basic cold selection of side salad, chutney, raita with onions and cucumber, also featuring curd rice.Buffet included chai and one dessert of a rice pudding with cardamom and some berries.(-) Besides the overwhelming spiciness and basic butter curry, the savory food was kind of lacking in flavor. Many food dishes were also unpleasantly dried out, overcooked, or lacking in flavor, and even the naan was excessively dried out. Maybe some of the food wouldn’t have been as dry if I had come earlier.Customer service was ok. I did find it odd that you can only get water in the form of one plastic room temp bottle included with a basic meal for free. If you get more than one bottle, you will be charged. Considering how spicy the food is and the lack of complimentary ice water, this is another significant drawback. They do offer 13$ veggie lunchbox and a 14$ non-veggie/meat lunchbox for takeout based off their buffet, where the waitress picks the food out for you.Overall, it seems this place’s main attractions are for ordering off the menu, and their specialty dinner buffets on Tuesday or Thursday. Maybe their weekend lunch buffet is better since it’s supposed to feature more variety foods.

I generally don’t write reviews but the experience at this restaurant was very bad that I decided to write it.We went to Sunday lunch buffet and food was disgusting. Almost all trays were empty and they were very slow in filling it up.Non-veg appetizer- chicken nuggets and tandoori chicken drumstick. Size of Drumstick was equal to my hand, was scared to even touch it.And who has chicken nuggets as an appetizer..seriously??Chicken curry- tray was empty and they didn’t even try to fill it up.Biryani..it was just color rice with some meat in it. No tasteDessert- just 1 and it was some halwa. No one even touched it.Plates and spoons- they were not washed properly and could see stains.I complained all these to the lady who was there, she said smiled and said sorry.I don’t mind paying as we went to restaurant to have lunch but they should at least have some basic ethics to treat it as weekend buffet and have some decent food and variety.Charge as weekend buffet but no food..it’s just very wrong.I would never go to this place ever again.

I went there for the first time, based on general review on google maps, it was a buffet in which you have options of vegetarian or not. I kindly warning this meats are too spicy... but if you are folks that love spicy you will feel just like home.I love it!.Will recomended to friends and family.Enjoy the food.

Its hard to find a restaurant serving Indian buffet nowadays. So this one is definitely worth trying out if you are looking for trying variety of Indian food. New management, well maintained, nice ambience, food is very tasty.Vegetarian options: Hyderabadi Dum biryani, idly, dosa, mutter pulao, paneer butter masala, rasam , sambar, baby corn Manchurian , pakora , curd rice , mango pickes

It's OK, but only OK. I went for the buffet so I could try a wide selection. They had many vegetarian dishes and a few meat dishes. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the food was disappointing.

While food was good service is absolutely horrendous. Orders are frequently messed up and when you complain, they tell you they will give you a discount on your next order. When you claim the discount on the next order, they will find a reason to deny you, including asking the name of the person who gave you the discount. They won't send confirmation codes or text nor do they even acknowledge it. Quite frankly, considering how much we spend, the 10 dollars off wasn't a big deal. But the principle of it was what mattered. 100% thumbs down and not surprised seeing similar reviews on this place.
