Hate to go against the grain of all the glowing reviews here but I was utterly unimpressed with this cafe that doesn’t seem to know what it wants to be. Is it a bar or a cafe? A pastry shop? A photography gallery? A bookstore? Nothing is executed fully so I felt uncomfortable there. Most importantly, the food is not prepared there. It’s prepared somewhere else and pre-packaged for sale. The “bookstore” part is very disorganized and the selection paltry. I see the owner is trying to make a go of it, but the vision is unclear. Pick one thing and do it well. I won’t be back.

We found this cute cafe in the Kentlands. The friendly owner provides great service. The coffee is good quality, so is the tea (Tazo) and yummy pastries, including a delicious gluten free brownie! Free hot water refills on the tea are nice because the standard to go cup size is an 8oz. Great experience; we’ll be back!

Wonderful cafe with a kind, attentive staff. It is a delightful place for a fabulous cappuccino and a pastry. There is beautiful artwork on display and the atmosphere is warm and comfortable. This is now my go-to neighborhood place for business meet-ups!

A local gem. They have delicious coffee and an excellent wine list. My girls love to go for the pastries. The space is welcoming, and I love the line-up of interesting community events.

A great addition to the neighborhood. Drinks are delicious, I have yet to try the pastries but they look great. Also an excellent spot to check out local art on display.

I had such a wonderful experience here! I happened to be in the neighborhood and this place caught my attention. The barista made me a delicious drink and showed me around. I fell in love with a beautiful photo that I ended up reserving. The owner explained more about the photographer and the history behind the photo and I couldn’t have been more pleased. It’s so nice to meet business owners who are passionate about their work. Overall, such a cute space and worth checking out if you’re into art/photo collecting.

Kentlands Photography Cafe is an excellent local spot to hang out, relax, or do work. They support local businesses by selling a variety of foods and wines from local vendors, and photo prints from local photographers that can be seen hung around the wall.Overall, a great experience, and a great way to spend an afternoon or evening!

It's a chill vibe here. You can look at art and photography on the main level and continue to look at photography on the bottom level as well. The cafe area has comfortable seating where you can relax with a beverage and have a pastry and chill with friends, family or have a meeting. There are book and framed and unframed photography available for purchase well so feel free to walk and look around and see if your home or if you need a gift to give a friend or family member in need of art. There is street parking which make it easy access to walk there as well. There is also seating outside as well which is great for days when the weather is nice. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. If you are looking for a nice chill cafe with ambience with great visuals this is the place to go to. Enjoy and thank me later.

Cool little spot in the downtown area. Occasional live music and excellent drink options.

We stopped by this new-ish cafe because we were looking for a spot to "work from home" for a bit. It was perfect! We were greeted by the owner, who walked us through the options and made several recommendations. While supporting local, you can support even more local business because they bring in food and wine from nearby places. The owner was very nice, and even helped my husband find a place to plug in his ever-dying laptop. My latte was tasty, and the vegan scone was scrumptious. It was clean and quiet, very enjoyable. Be sure to take a look downstairs, too. There's art all around!

We loved this little cafe! It was a great place to talk with the owner, look at some local photography art and get my work done. The cafe doesn't make the pastries instead they've partnered with another local bakery, the wine is from another local winery, and the tea is made from tea bags. The photography cafe is 100% local, inexpensive and a fantastic place to "work from home".

Sorry I didn't take a picture of it. Worst espresso in the USA so far.How on earth they managed to get it so wrong I don't know. They have a Lavazza machine that works with capsules. Pretty much like a Nespresso machine you'd have at home. It's meant to be fool proof.A single espresso, served in a lovely glass cup, was no darker than tea and unrecognisable as coffee.Extremely disappointing. I was so excited for a good coffee coming to the Kentlands.

Dear Iason Demos, firstly, thank you for the gesture of giving me a refund.Secondly, I am sorry to do this but your reply isn't acceptable as it contains too many inaccuracies and you deserve to get full feedback so you can improve your operation.let's do some actual "looking in to it".-I specifically asked the young lady, the staff", if she was sure to have used a fresh capsule and she confirmed she was. She then proceeded to make up a story about needing a double espresso to have some "crema" (her words).-She also most definitely did NOT offer to make another espresso. how could she after making up that story of the double.I don't even think it would be fair to blame the young lady for the poor coffee as obviously she had never seen an espresso out of that machine ever before as it looked acceptable to her. That's lack of training IMO.The making up of stories, to me first and then to you it would seem, that's another issue.
