Horrible, long wait time, half the menu sold out, prepaid meal for Valentines Day. Sat down at a dirty table, cheap prosecco, absolutely terrible we left and got a refund
Had reservations @8:30. We were first in a line that was out the door waiting to be seated. Stood about 30 min before someone even acknowledged us. We were sat down and waited another 15 min before being told "I'll be back with menus and your bottle of prosecco (which was included in the pre-purxhased meal). 10 more mins go by and by this time we had just pulled up the menu on our phones. When the waitress came back to us, she didn't have the prosecco and we were told that they were out of the prime rib and cheesecake. Unfortunately we came for just that. Now given we've waited almost an hour to be told this. We asked to speak to a manager. Jonathan was very professional and offered us to be refunded. We then asked if we could order off the regular restaurant menu. We were asked to leave the dinning area and sit in the restaurant bar area. It's now 9:50. We just received our prosecco. I ordered salmon, she had the farmers salad. My salmon was what seemed to be more like salmon jerky due to its dryness. Her salad comes with eggs and cheese. They put a balsamic dressing on it that was closer to stagnant pond water. Given the whole experience. It's a holiday, you can't run out of food half way through the night. The management was terrific given the circumstances. The food service was atrocious, possibly understaffed but still almost non-existent. The food was terrible, but we also were eating just before close. We will not be going back.
Came for Valentine's Day. Saw the prefix menu. They don't have at least 3-4 items available ie Ribeye, chocolate lava cake. I saw many takes kept getting the wrong food brought to them. We ended up just asking for the regular menu instead. Reservations was at 8:15 and they don't open till about 7 so I'm unsure how they run out 4 items after an hour. Go some wings shrimp tacos and a crab cake sandwich that looks like all filling. Wouldn't recommend anyone come here unless you jut need a quick drink or small bite. This is not a great stop.
We made reservations for the fixed menu on Valentines Day. They were already out of ribeye and cheesecake by 7:30pm. But the place was half full? We were sat and then waited about a half hour before we got water. 45 minutes until we got a menu. And an hour before apps were served. I still don't know who our waiter was, it was different people each time. Sunk cost fallacy kept us there. Where else would we go so late on Valentines Day. Besides, surely the food would be good. Nope. The chicken was lukewarm when served, had burnt skin, and the gravy for the potatoes was congealed. Not congealing. Congealed. My wife couldn't finish. I had the pleasure of trying their mashed potatoes entree. The menu said it was sweet potato gnocchi but what I ate was a few hunks of room temperature yams mushed together, so I don't know. We left before dessert. Mind you this was a prepaid fixed menu "experience". Do you know how bad your food and service has to be for people to walk out before getting dessert they already paid for? Anyway, would not recommend. I think I would've preferred eating an actual knife and fork.
DO NOT GO ON VALENTINES!!! it was very clear that they were understaffed and underprepared for this event. And yet they had adequate seating, implying that they were prepared for this number of people. The atmosphere was anything but romantic. Service was exceptionally slow. Courses were delivered out of order such as receiving an appetizer after the first course and then receiving Prosecco (first drink ordered) at the same time we received dessert. Entrees went out of stock early. Overall, very disappointing.
Me and my man came here for Valentine's Day it was not what we expected! The service was not good at all and we never received our Apple cider or prosecco .. took forever to get a water my man steak was bloody and my chicken was dry and cold .. we didn't receive our appetizer or dessert... very disappointing and we driver over a hour to get here .
I was running late for my reservation, so we did try to call and inform the restaurant so that accommodations could be made. I was not able to speak to anyone, such as a host or manager to communicate effectively. Once arriving to the restaurant, there was no host or anyone to seat us. I had to waive over a staff member only after speaking with the front desk associate, even then it was a task to be seated properly. Then the service was very slow to bring out the perks that I already paid for before arriving as it was apart of the Valentine's Day special to receive flowers and a bottle of champagne as well as a pre fixe menu. After having several conversations with different staff and waiters, the waitress actually informed me that they were sold out of the steak and cheesecake, which was very disappointing . She informed that I could bargain for a refund if this is not up to my liking but at this point at 6:30 7 pm, there would be no accommodations to another restaurant because of the busy holiday and I was a guest at the hotel so I told her, I would deal, and wait. We did get our food and champagne, I enjoyed the meal although the pre made plates were not as fresh or tasty as expected because of the long wait and confusion.
Best crabmeat cocktail I ever had! Seafood risotto was great too as well as the special of the day, Steak Diane. Will be back as soon as possible.
Very delicious cocktails and food. There was only one waiter, so I couldn't pay the bill right away. Other than that, I was very satisfied.

Tavern burger & fries was great; my son got the chicken sandwich and without prompting declared it a 10 out of 10 on the first bite. The atmosphere is the hotel lobby so that’s the only drawback. The bartender/waitress was very nice and accommodating.
