I may have missed it, but a flat 20% gratuity was automatically added to the food bill regardless of party size, which felt unusual, it was just myself in the party. What was more frustrating is that paying via the QR code still offered an option to select alternat tip amount. Even after selecting an alternate dollar amount, the original 20% gratuity remained, effectively resulting in double tipping. When I raised this, the staff acknowledged it but didn’t seem concerned about correcting the issue. Transparency and fixing this option would go a long way.

It's kinda weird. This feels like a bar you shouldn't take your children to, but it has some of the best Mexican food in the county served and cooked by some of the nicest people...also, um, the drinks are really strong...🥰

I went there for a comedy show (Give a Hoot Comedy Club). I really like the location and the indoor decor and setup works for a comedy club. The service was quick (until the show started) and the food was mediocre.

Best club soda pitchers, tater tots, and open mic comedy in town on Wednesday nights. It's just a great vibe, all the drunk townies come out of the woodwork to enjoy the comedy and smoke cigarettes and god knows what else in the parking lot. The food isn't bad either.
The food was ready quickly and was tasty. However the shrimp in my enchiladas were WAY overdone. Very dry and rubbery. Which is a shame because the sauce and spices were perfect. The tres leches cake was delicious though I would have loved some fresh fruit on top for the price.

Steak was very flavorful. Our party had mixed feelings about the ground beef. Rice is thicker and risotto-like and flavorful. Beans are good.
Service was average. Vibe is bar-like though there are a few booths. Smallish space.

Our family of four each got something different and we were all very satisfied. We ate on a Wednesday night at dinner time (6 pm). Food was good with full size portions, and pricing was very reasonable. Entry doors are dark, but once inside it is light and clean. Service was a bit inattentive given that the place was not crowded. When we left there was still available seating. Overall we would definitely come back.
