The yellow sauce is so good!! It’s very creamy! The yucca fries were just as good and very filling! The chicken was good, juicy could use some more crisp the skin felt wanting but would recommend this place 🙏🏽
Mi Peru must be recognized for a metric that is often overlooked in charbroiled chicken joint reviews. The chicken, which is fantastic, is similar to Sardi's Don Pollo, etc... As is the sauce. But not enough reviews go over the quantity of the sauce. For dine-in chicken, Mi Peru is SUPERIOR because you get a FULL BOTTLE of green and yellow sauce 0n the table. Most other restaurants will nickle and dime you for every drop of their sweet ambrosia-like signature sauce....
They make the best Peruvian chicken, period. Sauces are made in house- the yellow sauce is perfect and the green sauce is actually hot. Yucca is always fresh, and they have a ton of other authentic Peruvian dishes. Ceviche is also great. Locally and Peruvian-owned. An original.
