Such a good place! I usually order through Doordash, but this time I decided to eat in person with a friend and it was her first time trying pounded yam, egusi, cassava leaf and puff puff. Best thing ever! Owner was super nice and gave us recommendations on what to try next time we come back. She is so sweet. Please come here!!!! I will definitely come in person than ordering through a third party app next time. I love how her restaurant feels like you were in your mom’s/grandma’s house eating authentic food, and love the afrobeat music playing <3

The food wasn’t as expected. As a Yoruba man, I ordered pounded yam and Efo. It was way less than what I expected as the efo was sour. The Asun too should better be called peppered meat and not asun because it was just soaked in some stew. The prices too are not matching the quality of meal.
Enjoyable food and good quality services

Paid almost $30 for the goat and jilof . There was hardly any goat meat in there . Also the goat meat was not fresh and the plantains had to be the worst , dried up I’ve ever had
Overpriced and small portions for what you pay for. I got food to go and after I paid the purchase who rang me up pointed out that I didn’t leave a tip for the already over priced food. I got jollof rice with plantain and 2 little small pieces of goat (dry) and 1 drink and total was approximately $30. You will get more flavor and value for your money at a Jamaican or Mexican restaurant. $30 for two pieces of dried up meat, rice and plantain is insane.

Very pleasant experience. The Food was great and the lady that served me was awesome
This is my first time buying from this restaurant. The welcome reception was amazing. I was treated like I’ve been known for years. It’s clean, organized with wall pictures that makes one feel like one is in Lagos. The smell of my food uh, made me remember my mother. I ate all the pounded yam with egusi. I will go there again and try a different dish. This restaurant has brought real African food to USA.
