I heard this is place is under new management, so i give it a try. But i am so so disappointed , i wait so long to get a single dish of dim sum. I can under not much of worker but they have to know how manage and customer services well when short of people. I just check out with an unfull stomach because i cannot wait longer. My first time in my life that I dont want to give any tips, but my husband tell me give them some. I would never recommend anyone come here to eat.

The dim sum wad fresh and hot. Straight from the steamers. It wasn’t greasy. The staff was very friendly and spoke English. The only thing is that the restaurant inside is an older banquet room.

pretty good dim sum place, went around 1 p.m. on a Monday. The place was quite empty, there was only my family and three other groups there. Since it was quite late there weren’t many dim sum choices left so if you want a variety of dim sum, go before noon. The shrimp dim sum dumpling was my favorite since it had actual shrimp in there and it tasted amazing. The roasted duck wasn’t bad but it was a bit too oily for me, feel like they should’ve roasted longer so the oil would be more dried up. Overall, the food was pretty good and the service was amazing, our teapot was never empty.

The selection of dim sum dishes is pretty good, and most importantly price is not inflated like other dim sum restaurants in the county. Staff is very friendly and responsive. My only complaint is that the speed of bringing out carts with new food was too slow; we sat with an empty table on several occasions.

Great dim sum and such good service!!! We were looking for a dim sum spot in Maryland and we're so happy to find this near my daughters apartment!!! Will definitely be going back whenever we are in town!!!

Beware!! NOT THE SAME PLACE!! This used to be THE spot. We ordered every 2 weeks and didnt have a problem paying a little extra bc (as a chef) you could taste it. Anything fried came sauce on side and was delectable. Now they have "new management". Its a whole different place. Orange chicken was soaked soggy and had no flavor other than sugar. Beef and onions tasted generic af, and the dumplings where repulsive, idk what the sauce was but it wasnt right, tasted like fish sauce and oil. We ordered that almost every time and then even more when family was in town. Never again!

Same as before. Poor service, 3 out of 4 orders wrong. Very long time for what looked like reheated pork and duck. Prices high.

We went to dim sum on Sunday and ordered a whole bunch of different foods. The one thing I will say is because they are pushing the carts around the food can be a little cold. I also like to order off the Dim Sum. so I had hot and sour soup and sweet-and-sour chicken. Both were good however the noodles to go in the soup were stale. The spinach was very flavorful and the Peking duck wraps were good. Were they fresh and seasoned perfectly. it was very crowded with people waiting in line to be seated. The servers who I remember from last time were very busy. I would say they were over 500 people in the room. Finally, I would say the roasted pork was seasoned perfectly, but it was very fatty. Eggrolls are oily and the pan fried dumplings were good with pork and shrimp. It's fun to have dim sum every few months.

Grand opening of "Hong Kong Pearl" New management but half effort execution. Same decor, minus some things they took down lmao.Extremely terrible process to get seatedService very slow to get tea / anything. Charged me for old tea they just had sitting out and gave to us zzzLimited food available during cart service after initial first wave. They are just pushing the same cold food from opening.Damnit Ivan u lied to me !!!!Just go down the street to China garden. Or if you're in VA , han palace.

The name of the restaurant is no longer New Fortune. The new restaurant is called Hong Kong Pearl Seafood and the new owner is related to the owner of NoVa's Hong Kong Pearl Seafood in Seven's Corner. My party of 5 came here on July 2nd and tried its 6-person combo meal ($200). Two days later, my party of 4 and tried their fried rice, fried noodles, veggies, dim sums, and general tso's chicken. July 2nd trip: we ordered the 6-person combo meal, priced at $200, and an order of Beef Chow Foon. The lobster, onion and oil chicken, and baked duck dishes were superb. The beef chow foon, fried rice, and veggies dishes were okay. The lobster dish was superb due to the fact that it was perfectly seasoned and the oil/butter within the dish was not overwhelming. This dish can easily go wrong when the chef decides to over-season the lobster meat. The other two superb dishes were just as good because the meat were tender and the taste were awesome. As for the okay dishes, they simply did not stand out. July 4th trip: we had to look for a restaurant that opens on a federal holidays and serves Cantonese food in my area. So we decided to try this restaurant again and try their Americanized dishes coupled with some dim sums. Dim sums: we tried the chicken feet, durian pastry, and a pork stuffed bun. The dim sums were delicious. The Americanized Chinese dishes were okay at best. The fried rice, fried noodles, and general tso's chicken did not wow anyone at that time. Everyone said these dishes were serviceable and left their critiques at that. Overall: 4/5 for both trips. The new restaurant, HK Pearl Seafood is a good Cantonese restaurant with some really delicious dishes!
