The chicken karage ramen broth tasted odd. Big bites of ginger flavor or pepper. Off putting. The takoyaki tasted OK. The Ramen smelled like soup in a cup. The service was pretty slow. I would not recommend it. Go somewhere else, not in the Kentlands. The tempura was pretty good. It's disappointing for ramen.

Nishiki Ramen is a culinary gem that transports you straight to the streets of Tokyo with its authentic flavors and vibrant atmosphere. The moment you step in, the warm welcome by the staff sets the tone for a delightful dining experience. The takoyaki here is a revelation – perfectly crispy on the outside while being delightfully gooey on the inside, each bite is a burst of umami goodness, complemented by the tangy sauce and delicate bonito flakes that dance on top. It's a must-try appetizer that primes your palate for more.Moving on to the kaarage, Nishiki Ramen's rendition of this classic Japanese fried chicken dish is nothing short of perfection. The chicken is marinated to the bone, ensuring each piece is succulent and flavorful. The golden-brown crust is audibly crisp, making it an irresistible treat that pairs wonderfully with their array of dipping sauces. But the star of the show is undoubtedly their eel dish. The eel is grilled to a smoky tenderness, glazed with a sweet and savory sauce that enhances its natural flavors without overpowering them. It's a delicate balance that Nishiki Ramen masters, offering a dish that's both comforting and luxurious.Whether you're a ramen aficionado or a curious foodie, Nishiki Ramen's dedication to quality and flavor shines through in every dish. It's a culinary experience that leaves you planning your next visit before you've even left your seat. Highly recommended for anyone looking to indulge in the best of Japanese comfort food!

This is one of the best ramen places in the area. From the moment I walk in, I am instantly reminded of the Japanese-styled ramen places I used to go to all the time in South Korea (as opposed to the Korean ramyun restaurants).I had the Spicy Miso Ramen and I found the heat level to be comfortable. Not too spicy, but just enough to give it that rich flavor that I enjoy.Overall, a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back for some more!Kid-friendliness: While they have only chopsticks on the table, I have observed that you can request forks for the kids to use instead.

Their Sushi and Ramen is very good. The quality of fish is fresh. A great place in our Kentlands area.

First visit was "so so". Good ambience and friendly customer service. Came for the tonkatsu ramen and it was underwhelming. The broth was warm (not hot) and overall the dish could have used more flavor. The noodles were firm but thicker than I expected for the "thin noodle". The toppings were a little distracting, especially the ginger. I normally love ginger but it sent my tastebuds in a direction that I did not want to go.I'd return to try something else.
