Trim down version of menu, Super slow service and very small place. Big let down for Peter Chang Brand compared to One in Columbia or other old on I-270

Peter Changs is our favorite Chinese take out. We ordered the “GuoBao” sweet sour flounder. It’s usually very good. This time there was barely any sauce. Maybe it was an off night. We also ordered the spicy dry fried bamboo fish. The cumin gives it a slight curry flavor but it’s very good! We love it. The egg scallion fried rice is a good pairing.

This Chinese restaurant delivers exceptional value with its all-you-can-eat menu, offering generous portions that never compromise on quality. Each dish arrives fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, from savory stir-fries to perfectly seasoned noodles and crispy appetizers. Unlike many buffet-style options, the portions are substantial and made to order, ensuring both freshness and satisfaction. The attentive service and consistent taste make it an outstanding choice for anyone seeking variety, quality, and abundance in one dining experience.

Food is very good; service is good. Highly recommend the all-you-eat lunch menu. For $28 per person, you have over 40 different dishes to choose from, chicken, fish, shrimp, pork, beef, noodles, soups, stir fried rices, dumplings, buns etc etc.

First time visiting the Peter Chang in Gaithersburg and it did not disappointed us with our entire experience.
Greeted us as soon we entered in the snowy Tuesday night.
Drinks were made to perfection.
Got a couple of dim sums and perfectly prepared. We got mixed of small plates and a fried rice. This is not a typical Chinese restaurant. Flavor and how they are prepared so good. So much flavor in fried eggplants, mixed fried rice, Mongolian beef. Popcorn chicken is one of the best we had.
Highly recommended place.

I've eaten here a few times for dinner (I haven't done their AYCE dim sum for lunch yet but the price seems like a great deal.)
I've never had a bad meal. I have enjoyed every dish here! I also like the cozier, casual vibe compared to the Columbia location.
Will keep coming back.

Went for weekend all you can eat Tapas. Cost $28. The food was delicious, all of it. Our favorites was the Mothwatering chicken, the Taiwanese chicken, Salt & Pepper Shrimp, and the Shrimp and pork Shumai. Definitely will go again. Service was friendly. Would Recommend. Make reservations!

We had a great first experience at this place this weekend for the brunch/Chinese tapas. Their incredible variety of options were all excellent and seemed more authentic than the average Chinese restaurant. The standout was the egg yolk bao, which our party agreed was one of the more unique and amazing dishes we had recently. Attentive service, clean, overall pleasant decor.
Of note, the parking lot is tiny so be prepared to park elsewhere and take that into consideration for timing.
Highly recommended.

From time to time, I like to get some delicious Chinese food. This place satisfies that desire. It is well located and has ample parking space. It is located near major car dealerships. The restaurant is nicely designed and decorated. The service is fast and efficient. The food is delicious and nicely priced. I will go there again.

So many delicious dim sum dishes I like most of them especially for the soup dumplings, beef with onion, spring rolls, shrimp, deserts....
Maybe. there were too many customers so most of waiter and waitress were extremely busy and couldn't find smiles on their faces except for one waiter Mr. Nick. He was so nice and professional. He provided great service to us and smiled to us. Thanks to Nick.

We had ordered 4 portions of pork dumplings, beef lo mein, chicken lo mein and a Mongolian beef came to a total of $90 roughly.
Only to get dumplings that taste like the frozen bag sold at Costco, the lo mein was so oily it literally had me nauseas after a few bites, the food lacked flavor in general , the Mongolian beef to be honest was more onions than actual meat.
It was definitely such a waste of money and food too. We ended up having to get McDonald after tossing the Chinese food out.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone nor would I find myself there again. What a huge disappointment.

The absolute best Szechuan food in the area! You must get the hot & numbing tofu skins. The duck is also to die for.
