Food is good. Employees could use a refresher on professionalism and maturity. While I waited for my food multiple employees were loudly/obnoxiously yelling at each other. In a joking manner but using cuss words while multiple customers waited for their food. I understand this is a fast food restaurant but no one wants to to hear it

The night shift never has enough chicken ready. Everytime I come it’s a 30-45 mins wait while they fry. Some days the staff seems angry that customers are here. Also if it’s 2 hours before closing they will not have half the menu. Totally unprofessional experience. Day shift seems better.

Popeyes Review – A Truly Disappointing and Disturbing Experience

I visited this Popeyes location looking forward to some perfectly fried chicken. At first glance, everything looked fine—the chicken was visually appealing. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there, both for me and my dog.

My total came to $52. I usually meal prep, and planned to use the chicken as part of my meals for the week. However, after eating just one piece, I became violently ill. I also noticed the mashed potatoes were oddly lumpy and unappetizing—I couldn’t finish them.

Like many pet owners, I gave the leftovers to my dog. That turned out to be a terrible mistake. Not only did I suffer from nausea, vomiting, and severe headaches, but my dog has now been throwing up for two days. I can’t help but ask: what was in that food?

I feel absolutely sick—physically and emotionally. I paid $52 only to end up feeling poisoned. It’s heartbreaking and frustrating.

To make matters worse, the customer service was just as bad. The manager seemed more focused on chatting with friends behind me than helping me. I had to wait for her to finish her personal conversation before she even acknowledged me. When she did, she rushed my order, apparently because a delivery driver was waiting. Honestly, I feel like I was handed the leftovers or worst parts of the food just to get my order out of the way.

I’m not from Maryland, but I keep getting sick when I eat out here. This visit ended with me back in the ER for what seems to be another case of food poisoning. I just want to get home safely at this point.

This experience has left me completely disgusted and disappointed—not just with this Popeyes, but with the state of restaurant food safety in general. All we ask as customers is to be served safe, quality food that matches what’s advertised. This location failed on every level.

I hate giving 1 star reviews, but this establishment deserves it. Staff is ridiculously rude and unwelcoming. They mess up my order every time. The last time I was there, I ordered 8 spicy thighs and they ended up giving me a mix of wings, legs, breasts.. how do you mess that up? When I approached them about it, they made me feel like I was inconveniencing them and even rolled their eyes at me. Not my fault that they can’t read a simple order.

Overpriced tasteless chicken. This place makes McDonald’s seem like gourmet. $12 for five chicken tenders that are over fried is daylight robbery. There’s nothing worth eating here and certainly nothing healthy. At least McDonald’s put a pickle in their burger and the five dollar menu will fill you. You’ll leave Popeyes with that yucky film of grease coating your mouth. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a smile at the checkout. We didn’t. If you’re absolutely starving I suggest you look for an alternative before you come in here. Finally I have been to Louisiana and I have tried their amazing chicken. They don’t sell it at Popeyes.
