Food was delicious. It was my first time going to Hook n Reel. I enjoyed the seafood boil. I got the snow crab boil with potatoes and corn on the cob. I haven't had a seafood boil in a long time. The service was impeccable. Our waitress was very attentive. The ambiance gave Crusty Crab vibes lol. But I loved the theme. I would 100 % recommend.

Fast, friendly, efficient, professional service. There were no customers when I ordered at 8:30pm. The store was a bit short-staffed but I still got my food quickly. I ordered the new Ring of Fire sandwich. It was spicy but not as spicy as I expected. The interior is spacious and cozy. I would have dined in but was tired and took it to go. I'd definitely come back. Their outdoor patio is so welcoming!

The restaurant was empty when I walked in and I was told that they were unable to take my order for at least twenty minutes due to heavy online orders. They weren't polite about it either. I'm unsure why they couldn't multi task and take my order.. No one was actively waiting for a online order so I don't see why that is heavily prioritized over a customer in the store. I walked out instead of waiting which seemed to be what they wanted.

I've always loved the atmosphere in Potbelly restaurants and this one is no exception. The employees here have always been super friendly and the food is consistently delicious. Food is averagely priced although even the "Biggs" sandwich comes in a little undersized compared to their competitors.Even simple sandwiches are delicious. The chicken pot pie soup is so good on a cold day, as is their Mac n Cheese. I can't really think of anything negative to say. We love eating here!

Anyone who goes to the Potbelly in RIO or maybe any of them in MD., needs to read this. I was told by that store that due to a sale of the franchise in the state, they aren't honoring gift cards. The gentleman at the store said maybe they'd know if the could honor them down the road. I emailed potbelly and called their main office and no answer from either. We consistently buy gift cards at Costco and can't use them and have no perks on our account anymore?! NO! Someone needs to get this straightened out. As customers for years, this is a poor way to treat people, regardless of the sale. Issues should've been dealt with in a prompt manner.Fred

I ordered for salad and almost all the salad had gone bad and sells bad, so as I was eating I realized most of them beneath has gone bad. I took it back and the manager refused to refund my money back. This was my first time ordering from potbelly 544 N Fredrick ave, Gaithersburg and it is gonna be my last time. Money wasted. Worst salad ever ???
First time trying Potbellys. The staff was friendly and the dining room was clean but as others have stated the portions were very skimpy. For the price of the sandwich it should have more than a salad on a bun. I would have been upset had I not liked rabbit food on my sandwiches and would have felt more ripped off.

Came in today and they were slammed with a same day 700 sub order. 700!!! I felt bad cause they were turning away walk in customers. The staff looked stressed but they were still polite. They got my takeout order on time still. Good attitude when things were going terrible for them. Ps who the heck puts in a same day 700 sandwich order? C’mon man!

I was reluctant to order from this potbelly because I had many bad experiences from little chicken on the bread or soggy and wilted lettuce and tomatoes.Today to my surprise the chicken salad was amazing and the farm house salad was super fresh.I called the manager Marico and thanked them for finally getting it right.Parking: It’s a little busier since they opened new stores.
